Battery may be defective or may not be a Motorola original battery. After market battery (non- Motorola battery) was inserted, the battery does not have Motorola communication technology.

the following are responsible for motorola invalid battery---1- in the case of v3 check the resistor in the opposite direction with battery connector or---2-if u course charge the battery(direct charging)

U have to check out the connections beetwen battery pads and power unit... Any element or track could be responsible... I Had that problem with V3i :)

That is a track cut,usualy by making testpoint.Rebuild the track.:D

Before do anything you must know the origin of that problem:fail down-water-bad testpoint and so on.
