V3 keeps show "Charging"

Hi.

I've read a lot of posts on this forum about v3 NOT charing. However, I have a V3 that's just the opposite. The phone does take charge and everything else works fine. It's fairly new and has no water damage AT ALL! But the phone act like it's charging (with battery indicator blinking) even after the charger is removed. And the only way to stop it is by take the batter out / in again. Does anyone have a solution for this??

try to trace and clean it!!!
maybe theres a moisture in the charging area!

Thanks for helping out dmaetrey. But the phone was new and has no signs of water mark at all.

Falak: can you please tell me which one is the charging IC? I'm assuming that'll be Q958 right?
