You need to use DevCert to to make a .csr file (you can use sultan key to make the csr file). After that you upload the csr file on symbiansigned to generate a .cer (cert) file for you.

if you signed your application with no error that mean your cert ok just change phone date 3 or 4 day advacne becuse if you made cert today and using same day time zone difrent and it shoud be fine ....

That should be no problems, mine say the same thing. I have signed all kind off apps with the cert I make.
What ever key you use to make the csr file with DevCert tool should be the same key when signing apps/
Example I use sultan key to make csr file, I sign all the apps with sultan key also.

your Route 66.sis is named wrong,

1st edit the auto_sign Sis.bat
2nd, change the route 66.unsigned.sis to the name of your app that you have downloaded.

this should sort the problem out (i/o error is when i file can't read / write to and from the software, i.e Input/Output Error)

another way to sort the problem out is download my B.u Mobiles Sign Your Apps v2.0 this little program will sort out all the renaming and signing parts that you are stuck on

this program was made for people finding the signing process hard....!

like i always say, it's easy as 1-2-3:)

At the moment my Tomtom works fine on my N73 , the only thing is if i go into gallery , images all of the speed camera icons and voice icons are there which i find very annoying.
I moved all my tomtom software into the hidden "system" folder but when i started tomtom all i got was the spinning globe . when i moved it back all was fine

I had the same problems with Garmin, I just went into gallery and delted all the pictures that was in there. Did not effect the program itself.

1, try a factory reset and then re-install
2, install route 66 mobile 7.3.545 instead
3, if all fails use tomtom 6 :)

TomTom does not work with the internal GPS receiver yet. You will need a bluetooth GPS receiver. The files and all things you need is in this thread somewhere. Goodluck

2, plug usb cable in and select transfer mode
3, copy the tomtom 6.02 symbian os 9.0 software onto the root of the memory card
4, copy the selected maps onto the root of the memory card
5, load tomtom
6, activate the maps via a keygen
7, all done...!
8, restore the phone memory backup (If need to factory reset if steps 3-5 don't work)

Just make sure the Volume is up or it's not on mute. Outside of that don't really know what's wrong.

ok, i got garmin mobile Xt workin' so far with my N95's internal gps. i downloaded city nav europa NT+ v8 and it's this map called "CNEUR8NT" with a whole bunch of .img files and some several others , do i just copy this map in the garmin map on me sdcard or only the files not the map??

You need to download the speech files on page 141 about midway. I had the same issue with no voice navigation. Instructions are there too.

If Im using a n95-8gb the internal gps was not supported until version 7.3.545 but when I try to upgrade it doesnt work obviously. How do we get the updated version so that the route 66 will pick up the internal gps receiver on the n95? thanks alot..

ease of installation is relative!! It doesnt look overly difficult but Im still downloading the North America maps, Im struggling at like 10kb/sec. Other then that ive got the garmin program with keygen, support files and thats all I need right? And I need to have my phone connected when I run the garmin program right? thanks alot

download and extract this file then install to your root of your memory card

tomtom 7.05 are not supported in the tomtom mobile 6.02 for nokia n95

these 7.05 maps will only work with tomtom one / go devices with firmware 7.x in them

USA Pacific NW: 483 MB
from

and they are NOT ok: "resource files are missing..."

But the one ("route 66 map" from the North America package) from:

1, Backup phone memory via the memory card
2, Factory reset the phone via code (*#7370#)
3, Install Route 66 Again
4, Copy Maps to memory card folder system\app\route66\maps
5, Restore phone memory's backup
6, All done...! (Voice is working)

you need a valid email address from a business account / domain name account.

user emails are not accepted (e.g. Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo)

no mate you need to use external gps - route66 uses internal gps.Its over a year old the version I have, looking on the forums seems plenty newer versions about.
