look at the start of this thread for tomtom 6.02 symbian 3rd gen

download it and copy all files to the root of the memory card :)

install the maps

then load tomtom and activate :D

I need New Zealand map very soon as i am moving there.
At present i am using N95 with Tom Tom 6 v602, can you tell me what the best sat nav program is that has New Zealand map as TomTom wont give any info on 6.75/6.80 map and wont give date for navigator 7 for symbian so i need a cracked program for N95 with New Zealand map.

Right I've been scanning the net and every forum possible to get Route 66 to work on my Nokia N95 8gb. Still no luck after 5 days of searching and scolding over symbiansigned.com. BuMobiles, you seem to be pretty handy and above all friendly with these problems, could you help me out?

I need either a benelux.map and dutch.ogg for route 66 mobile 8 (somehow, that didnt need any signing)
Or I need a route 66 mobile 7 signed for my mobile phone. (I have the map and all other things needed).

I've been pulling my hairs out over this, I'm starting to see bald spots. Would really appreciate your help!

I have had several cracked versions of tomtom given to me but I am really struggling to get them to run on the phone. One set of instructions said that when I copied the files to the memory card and put it back into the phone it would start to run automatically and then use the keygen, however it didn't install automatically so I was completely lost.
I have currently installed tomtom navigator 5.2 but it's not working properly (maps ok, but no voice), I could not follow the instructions through that I was given as I think they were for a windows based system such as a PDA so I couldn't find the folder to copy the crack version to.

Is there a version, either tomtom or route 66 that is best suited to these phones ?
I'd like to start from scratch and get it done properly.
Could you point me in the right direction as to where I can get the software from and also talk me through installation.
(I need GB Maps and also Spain)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1, format the memory card
2, factory reset the phone via *#7370#
3, download and copy all files from the tomtom 5.20 symbian 2nd edition to the root of the memory card
4, insert into the phone
5, power on the phone
6, it will now install the app and you will find it inside the my own folder :D

If my memory serves me correct it was the sony rep that 100% assured me a 8mp camera phone out by the end of the year.

I was also talking to nokia about the DVB-H TV on the N96.As of yet there has been no deal made with television networks and nokia for a free to air service agreement.So they brang it down to me saying yeah the function will be on the phone but at the time of release you will most prob not be able to use that function.But they also said when it does come available it is going to be high def televsion on your phone,and they drove home the point of "high def".Retail price will be around the 1400 mark or the price of the origonal N95 on release

And for the symbian fans out there (myself included) Samsung are going to bring out a range of symbian S60 phones

It is a bit off topic for here but yeah,they are some updates i got today

3, download and copy your maps into the root of the device storage card / memory
4, load tomtom up and get your device no

Just received my first symbian smart phone for samsung.It is the i450 running off Symbian OS 9.2, Series 60 v3.1 UI according to gsmarena.com.retail price $649 (where i work anyway)

Another thing,yet to be confirmed but the new 6210 navigator will come with the nokia maps and MAY have the voice nav included and may be Nokia maps version 2.(you can beta test nokia maps 2 now at http://www.nokia.com/betalabs/maps/

The big thing for nokia maps 2 is it has the ability to go onlie and get traffic updates then from what i have been told it will reroute you around congested traffic.

Might not be appealing to anyone else but it is good for me as i work in Sydney and hate the traffic so i am gonna be getting a bit more of a sleep-in in the mornings :)

and one last thing that i have been getting heaps of interest from and a phone i want is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1,someone on here pm'd me asking bout it and i deleted it and cant remember who it is but it will not be release till December/Jan and will prob retail for around 1300

It just occured to me and i just found another one of my phones and bluetooth GPS

Being the GPS go to guy can you tell me if there is any decent GPS program that you have cracked on it.It is a WM6 device (HTC Touch) but i know WM5 programs work on there.

I was trying to get the normal smart2go on there,but i have the problem that i can get the actual application on my phone as they make a WM5 version but i can not get Australian Maps on there.And being in Aus there is no point me having a GPS without the right maps :p

In saying that though hopefully within a couple of months ill be over in europe working on the A380's (since im a plane freak...sad sack :p)

So any program with Aus maps and/or Europe (if you need to know ill be near Italy) would be great.

i have downloaded &installed file 'TomTom_Mobile_6.010_-_Windows_Mobile-Pocket_PC__Cracked_' from the rapidshare link as per thread . as it does not contain any maps i have downloaded (just for a trial ) floroda map v665 being a smaller size and tried
buy copying all files to my SD card under programfiles\Navigator\maps\Florida . where did i make mistake pl advise. ..

1. which folder i have to dump the maps?? i have seen in my last 2-3 days experience with thw forum there are v7maps also.
2. which case i have use keygen?

4. i assume that totmtom got installed as it is there in the program and an icon .i am able to run it and is displaying message 'No maps found!'

I am new to this thread as i am a newbie trying to install TomTom on my HTA TyTN running windows mob6.
i have downloaded &installed file 'TomTom_Mobile_6.010_-_Windows_Mobile-Pocket_PC__Cracked_' from the rapidshare link as per thread . as it does not contain any maps i have downloaded (just for a trial ) floroda map v665 being a smaller size and tried
buy copying all files to my SD card under programfiles\Navigator\maps\Florida . where did i make mistake pl advise. ..
also pl advise ..

1. which folder i have to dump the maps?? i have seen in my last 2-3 days experience with thw forum there are v7maps also.
2. which case i have use keygen?
3. which folder i have to dupm voices, as i have downloaded voices also from the initail pages.
4. i assume that totmtom got installed as it is there in the program and an icon .i am able to run it and is displaying message 'No maps found!'
5. if you can advise me link for middle east map I appreciate as it is my current destination. or guide me for any maps which is compatible for a trial.

Maps, put them on the root of the memory card in a folder called uk 6.75 (etc)
Voice's, copy them into the folder called navigator found in the program files
Keygen, Download the tomtom 6 keygen and activate your v6 maps

p.s. only v6.xx maps will work on tomtom 6 :D

2, Nokia Maps (Smart 2 Go) will never be free (Nokia like the Money ;))

You cannot get a cert anymore, the only way to get one is to request a cert from place that is giving them out like OPDA site (wait is about 5 days right now)

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've read this thread but am still a little confused. I'm trying to install Route66 Mobile7 onto a Nokia 6210C without a lot of luck. The application has installed and I have maps in the map folder on the memory card, but I still get a Resource error and the program doesn't run. Symbiansigned don't give out cert file anymore unless you have a Publisher ID (which cost $200) so not a lot of peoples have them. There are a few website that give them out but the wait is about a week right now. Try OPDA website

Hi, so you know how to work with torrents. You have to find the right version of tomtom 6 (or above f.a. 6.10) and perhaps the maps of UK. Normally there is an attachment file of how to install, but it's not that difficult. Most of time you have to copy the file on your SD card. You're lucky with wm6 on your phone, because you can use your phone GPS reciever. I hope this puts you in the right direction. Send pm if you need more help. Succes

secondly OPDA is a great Chinese site where people can request there Cert file. I have done it personally and have got it. I had to wait roughly 1 and half weeks and was 74,625th in line and i just go it today.
It may be a long wait but if u need a cert den they will provide. Sorry if I was Off topic - I dont want to keep it to my self!!

check the version of the maps via the 'mid file' located in the map folder

then download the tomtom 6 keygen and activate your maps :D

First of all as for the Nav 7 rumours; All I can say is that they're basically keeping us a bit in the dark here aswell. There might be a Navigator 6 update coming out soon and there might not be one either. I can't say for sure. As for the NZ maps, the basic reason there hasn't been any updates for the Nav6 on these unsupported maps might be because of the previous statement I gave "if there's a new Nav 6 update coming out, I'm sure it'll support all our current countries incl. ofcourse New Zealand. That's to me to most obvious reason why not to release them as of yet but rather in the 2nd half of Q2.
I mean the x30 devices came out now and in a marketing view of this issue I can see no reason why to release all products immediately in the first half of Q2.
Makes more sense to release them in june or even in Q3 to push up the sales.

As a N95 user myself I feel very frustrated to be using Garmin on my mobile. I personally don't like Gamin xt's (not because I work for TomTom, but because I feel it's the most annoying navigation software to work with -Just my opinion as a Garmin consumer/ customer ofcourse!!!)
I would really like to see them work on a system to make our Nav 6 work with the Nokia Bluetooth, but onfortunately this brings us back to the points made above (why upgrade now when you can upgrade later?). In reality I could have used our Navigator 6 with an external GPS receiver (works brilliantly, even better then with the internal GPS to be honest). But having an external GPS receiver is the reason I chose not! to use a PDA but rather this N95.

Tony I'm an IT student and there's nothing I love more then to see quick upgrades on applications for any particular company, but I'm affraid we'll have to wait out on this one.
Please be patient and I hope that there are new updates coming out soon.

Actually it has been broken already by the firmware patching but it is the extremely dangerous procedure and also Nokia have fixed it by encoding that part of firmware with the latest updates.
I guess that everything about the "new" Symbian's platform security is very well known and already discussed numerous times here on SF, especially over at our forum section, so I’ll not repeat it again. This obnoxious concept was introduced by Nokia few years ago with its first S60 3 rd edition phone (N80) and it is based on the idea that nobody gets access to those data ca... ..

I have been told that a tool called PowerBoot allows to start programs on starting of the phone.
I suggest you NOT to do that. Disable security only when needed, not all the time.

Select Options -> Selfsign
App will be signed.
To sign using any of the PC based signing apps, just extract and use the key & cert from keycert.rar.

Just wanted to say thanx to you. Managed to get Garmin XT Mobile working on my N95 8GB. Having more problems with ROute 66 mobile 8 and Tomtom 6, but I will work it out eventually.

I also have to state that the process you described above for allowing access to sys, resource, private, etc. worked fine on my N95 8GB.

My only problem is that I still am unable to install the rotate me and shake to sms applications.

No biggies though, sure I will get round it eventually.

Just wanted to say thanx to you. Managed to get Garmin XT Mobile working on my N95 8GB. Having more problems with ROute 66 mobile 8 and Tomtom 6, but I will work it out eventually.

I also have to state that the process you described above for allowing access to sys, resource, private, etc. worked fine on my N95 8GB.

My only problem is that I still am unable to install the rotate me and shake to sms applications.

No biggies though, sure I will get round it eventually.

Yeah mate, the self certification works, but I am still unable to install them because they use the wrong UID and it then gives me the error:

Unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier.

Which I am led to believe is because the UID is between 0×20000000 - 0×2FFFFFFF instead of 0xA0000000 - 0xAFFFFFFF for self signed (from http://mobile.antonypranata.com/2006/06/16/interpreting-signing-error-messages-in-s60-3rd-edition/)

you need to download the tomtom 7 keygen and system patcher v2.0
it's found on this thread just a few pages back :D

copy maps onto device

run the patcher and keygen then enter the device id into the keygen and patch the file system :)

Just wanted to say cheers to BU Mobiles and everyone else who has offered a helping post on here.

I've now managed to get 4 sat nav pieces of software on my N95 8GB and it's mostly down to the posts in here.

I'll have a play with them and see which one I like best, but thanks for all the help.

I may keep on with the tweaking to see if I can manage to get more up to date maps, speed cameras, software, etc., but what I have working at the moment is all down to you and I just wanted to say thanx !

no one can create a certificate for you at the moment, the other method to try is Garmin XT :)

Dear Bu Mobiles,
I have downloaded all the software below, but when extrackting the Garmin_Mobile_XT_4.10.60__Including_Support_Files_ .rar I got 5folders and 4 files(one setup.exe), I'm really confused what should be the next step of installing these to my N95, when I run the .exe file it starts installing but in the computer, not to my phone, please give me a short tutorial how to install the program and the map to Nokia N95??? I made a lot of reading before asking you that!

1, extract all files from the garmin***************.rar
2, insert cable into your n95 and select data transfer mode
3, run setup.exe and select the drive that is assigned to the data transfer mode
4, now press install
5, after installation is completed copy your map files to the garmin folder on your storage device
6, generate a key for your device and maps and save them to the garmin folder too
7, all done

easy as 1-2-3

yes it works but only on certain versions of the tomtom go 700, just download and try it, but make a backup of your tomtom memory 1st

I have been trying very hard to get the latest Australian Route 66 Map but so far...no luck...I had one which was 79 MB and then few months back I downloaded another one 133 MB (From 2006)- Even the bigger version is very limited and only has 90% coverage area's. The only way of getting any of them versions to install on your phone and work with the internal gps is the sign them

Hi, I couldnt find the option to do a factory restore, but I have found that if you copy the map over first, then all the application files you dont get the "I agree" screen.

unable to install..... I got as far as installing both the bt.sisx & GPSd.jar but when it comes to installing the tomtom.sisx, it keeps failing?

I choose my card as the destination not the physical phone memory.

Any ideas why its failing?:(

Actually not!
As I say in another post, this version of TomTom does not support the internal GPS. The trick is made it by a program (GPSd) that works as a virtual Bluetooth GPS reciver, that why you have to run this program before and leave the Bluetooth on.
It is "a" solution but not "the" solution.

All the cams posted here won't be up to date :mad:

Try buying them from a realiable source (p.s. Not HP or Branstons)

Thanx for ur kind response Bu. But now there is another issue, when i choose binpda device tomtom automatically shuts down.. i'm really almost exhausted, Is there any better way out pls.. I heard of Sygic, is there any way to load it on N95 8gb and is it better??????????
