Guys I seriously need your help( this goes specially for you Bu M) I have looking n looking ...searchin n searchin this forum and all the torrents but so far I could not find the "Middle east" Map for route 66...If any one has workin maps for middle east...please send me the link...I Am sick and tired of reinstalling my windows as everytime i download something...either it wont work or it would have virus...I am moving down to Muscat and it seems as if it will be tuff task as it n if I can find the maps it would be of great help.

P.S Need to use it for standalone gps system.

tried R66 V8 ... not a good idea.

Its talking in Portuguese (i dont understand), it ignores Phone setting "Silent", it cant be shut down except by switching the Phone off and the funniest thing: the software cant be removed.

to remove the route 66 software
either factory reset your phone via the service code *#7370# or delete the app from mass storage\sys\apps\route66

Found the taskmanagers funktion in the meanttime.. was a fault in the manual.. not keeping the mü button pressed but the icon of the soft brings up the close menu...

I've copied the UK files you posted from the speed camera RAR file in to the UK map folder on my N95 (running 6.020 TT and 6.75 UK map). The tomtom safety camera appears in the POI list, but when I search for "Safety Cam UK Tomtom" it displays "No POI found!". Are these files for a different version of Tomtom? I have Tomtom 7.450 on a Windows PDA so I guess I could try them on there.

No worries, Ok, download this (Its the Easytools (Keygen): http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=4103892&postcount=1876

Once you have downloaded the keygen, you will find a folder called "insert_meta_from_Map_here", in this folder copy over all the camera's files you have downloaded, Then in the DeviceID (notepad file) type in you Device ID all in uppercase and with no spaces.

Then run the cmd program "RunMeforDCT", Press option 1, 2 or 3 according to which Navcore version you have, then on the second option press #1. It shouldn't ask you for your device id, if it does just enter it in.

Then it should have patched the camera files to your device, then from the "insert_meta_from_Map_here", copy over all the files and paste them into your map folder then it should all work, if you get stuck then give us a shout.

I have found the DeviceID. Everytime i click on "RunMeforDCT" it says (in a notepad) no meta. txt found press any key to continue... when i press any Key it just closes the notepad page.

On your TomTom, if you tap on the bottom right and then on the bottom right again, there will be a little button which will have your Navcore (Firmware) Version, click on that little button and you will get info about your tomtom including your Device ID.

The Device ID notepad file is not in any folder, its in the main Easytool folder.

I have been using r66 mobile 7 on my N95 for about 18 months (thanks BUMobile.....;)) along with a map of australia for almost as long.

That map is very much outdated now and I wonder if there is a more recent one available.
When I searched around for it, I read with avid interest about r66 mobile 8.

So, question is, do i stick with mobile 7 and look for an updated map, or go with mobile 8..............and if i go with mobile 8, how do we get round signing these days.....do we still need to?........

Thanks for your reply. I have one PDA/Phone with Windows Mobile 6 and on the forum I found only Route 66 Mobile 8 for Symbian Phones(and the Links Doesn´t work).
I have already Route 66 WM 8 Version instaled with Iberia Q3 2008 maps "unlocked" and Western Europe Q3 2008 "locked" and I need to unlock it.
If you or other member can help me I would apreciate.

I think its better for you to install garmin as it is one of the best GPS program around and its quite accurate especially in Asia. For me I'm still waiting for some helpful soul to give me a patched route 66 and a patched tomtom that can be used for pda and show Singapore and Malaysia and Thailand maps. Thank you. I got a Tomtom Go 710 from a friend who had his SD card swiped. Want to download North America maps to see if it even works. can not justify paying an exorbitant amount of money for maps if the device doesn't work... Anyone out there have a set I can put on a SD card?

Could you do me a massive favour and re-post this map in the 2 parts, as the current links don't seem to work. I am going on holiday Tuesday morning and would really appreciate your help in getting this to work on my Nokia N95.

I currently have TT installed and working fine, but need the Europe map as I am off to Spain. I have tried the Iberia map but it does not seem all that good. I am hoping that this larger map might be better.
