Hi,

I purchased Sigmatel S4. I have few doubts on some features, if you can help that will be grateful .

1)All my address are in my old Sony Ericsson phone in VCF format. When I tried to send thru blue tooth, S4 is not recognizing the file. How to copy please help.
2)I want to know how to add my own words to dictionary ?
(In regular mobiles t9 will be there, I think its here Smart ABC available under Write Message->Options->8 Input Method -> Smart ABC)

3) If my typed key leads two words example CAP and CAR. In regualar mobiles it shows both the words in list. I can choose one from them. Here I want to type CAP in message but it shows CAR. How can I get CAP ?

4) I am unable to use PEN to write SMS. I have done Pen calibration
(menu->settings->pen calibration). And from Handwriting I have choosen color and speed (menu->settings->Phone Setup->9 HandWriting).
But not getting writing stokes in SMS.

5) How can I send a folder using Bluetooth option instead of single files.
I found FTP Settings in bluetooth. What is the purpose and how can I use

Forgot to mention, I downloaded pc sync manager and pc suit of mediatek from this forum. PC suit gives error while installing and PC Sync manger dont have installer at all .

I have n95 china phone. Few days ago while txting, the phone shut down and whenever i tried to open it, the lights up but does not open unless I tighten its body,and Once I release it, it turns off again. I am also using a card reader to transfer the photos to the pc but it doesnt allow me to view the video- it says not suported or cannot be read by my pc. I also cannot download bible and other stuff. What should I do? I hope you can help me with this asap. I am so sad because I cannot use my phone for 2 weeks now. thanks in advance =(

use infinity software for screen calibration but touch pad will not work but it will remove touch pad calibration
if you want touchpad to work also you need to replace touch pad

After flash phone works good but screen is blank.

I have S3 phone there is 3 major problem in my phone

1. it is automatically switch off 7-10 days and then phone memory lost and also camera module not ready error when I enter code *### camera is work but it happen each 7-10 days

2. How can I put my phone in vibration mode when I select Alert type there is only two opetions ring and second light but not vibration opetion

I am sure it's been covered (somewhere :rolleyes:) but I have been thru this site trying to find an answer but all the postings seem disjointed and no concise method to fix this problem. So in the vain hope of a definitive answer, I post here.

Started off with the phone not picking up any network, found out about the engineering mode, went in there and proceeded to press the High Speed Sim function. Phone is now dead.

Can someone please post a step by step guide as to how I can bring this phone back to life again. Please assume your are talking to an imbecile as that is what I am when it comes to the inside of a phone.:D

Hello,

You must flash phone with the same (or very similar) firmware version that was installed in phone before.
if you don\'t know original firmware version you must try many different firmware files or at least post here phone photo so somebody can give you an advice.

I have china phone s688 it is a clone of CECT s688
it was ok first 5-6 days, and now shuts it self off.I notice that without sim card is working, but i put sim card and when it tries to make connection with network, it suts off.Is somebody familiar with this problem, can somebody help me?Can i flash this phone without any flash box?

Hello.I bought a steel strap gsm watch phone k111 with 2GB ext TFT memory Tri band receiver, from a supplier in china (who never checked workability of her supplies).Upon insertion of my sim card(as directed in the user manual which is english)I keep receiving "Insert Sim" message. my sigmatel s4 is flashed i am able to reacive calls and call others but

there is no display iam getting a white screen please help
make sure the flash file you have used is exactly the same version with your backup(if you made backup)

hi all the postes about china handset are informative..
i think this is only one place to get all info about china handset..
i am new for china handset.. but i have some basic knowladge about it..
i brought new jinpeng E6180(dual sim) handset, i dunno wat is CPU or wat kind of flash is there...
u can see my mobile full info from here http://neokas.com/product_364.html... but in my handset not windows mobile is installed.. and i dunno wat is that.. it not supporting jar,jad,exe,sys,nes or anykind of fils.. so i could not install any softwares. even i cant install opera mini also..
so now i am thinking to reinstall my mobile OS to windows mobile 5.0 or symbian s60.
but i dont have any idea how to install and whether possible or not..
i brougt mobile only for internet access purpose.. but if i open gmail in default browser some boxes are coming sp i cant check mail too..
i hope i will get solution for my probilem..

Hi I have bought a V188 hiphone in china and now when I am in Spain I can see that the microphone does not work good. I have to shout because the person in the other phone can not listen to me. Can I change this microphone easily? Where can i bought a new microphone? can I used one from my olds telephones?
