its all right man, its enough too that u posted this version here and i respect that. Hopefully someone can do it...and can patch it or crack it.
If u get something new plz let us know bro, and we do the same too.
If we have several naivagtion apps for the N95 with internal Gps would be very awesome man.

sign this sis with your own imei.
when you have install it to mem card (best place to install) in the system/apps/route66 path called maps. (system/apps/route66/maps. place your map in there.If not there make a folder call Maps and put map in there,any from 2005/2006 should work ok
For activate maps (not provided with this sis) insert a random key of 16 character.

Yes this does work 100% i have use it today on my Nokia N95 you have to slide the back of phone down to active the gps

Please, please don't fill this thread with info on the very old version 7.3.468. There's plenty of threads on the 468 build already. This is a brand new version 7.3.545 that was made to run officially on the Nokia N95. That is the one we want now.

Hi,
I wonder a bit about the maps i couldn't get usenet to work since my current provider don't provide usenet (strange but true)
You write that EasternEurope maps are 181 MB and working on version 7.
Is there any where else i can download that map ?
becouse the lates Easteuropean map i have for version 7.x.xxx is about 50 MB
and to be honsest not that good...

On Nokia maps and version 8 (6110 Navigator) the maps are a bit bigger and better so i hope it's in the same class =)
Is there anyother source or could you/someone upload it to a different location?

the newer britain rpm is larger incorporates ireland is compatible with older route 66 if any is interested

re installs etc fine u can sign the sis if u need to but since it needs crack patch or whatever pretty useless at the mo is worth download if map is better or more upto date should i say

According to other posts on this forum both versions work on N95,
If you have a stable version for your phone stick with it unless there is
a new really good version. BUT if you have tried one version
and it doesn't work try another ;)

10x Niska. Both versions work with internal gps. i have a nokia 6110 navigator with integrated gps and 7.3.486 work with full signal. i added the new map and it works ok. hope they are adding new cities coz romania has only 2 cities detailed.

As far as i know there is just one other public map for Romania and it's
ROMANIA_2005_Q2.PRM and it's around 8,5 MB.

Have you tried Nokia MAPS ?
It's working on the 6110 Navigator aswell...
And you can route plan and simulate the route where
it pretends to drive the way you are suposed to drive.
To be fair Nokia maps / smart2go have good maps,
even though the navigator part costs a bit to much
and isn't as good as it should be (atleast i don't like it).

An other boring but good thing is actualy to buy more maps for
Nokia Navigator / Route 66 version 8 (included on 6110 Navigator).
Since it's a really good program with all of the missing features in version 7 included. Since you have tried both version 7 and 8 you know what
I'm talking about...

The done side is really the price for maps, trafic, fotoradar/speedcam, etc.
And also the fact that you can't buy just the countries you like,
you have to buy packs or cities...
(Price of aditional features is the only big minus)

Any how the main principle is that if it works and you like it,
don't change it unless there are some big improvments...
I have tested a couple of versions on a couple of phones
including the best GPS/Navigator phone on the market (6110 Navigator).
Here i expect alot of N95 users will complain, but test them side by side,
both original and with pirate soft and then you will agree with me ;-)
Even though later firmwares for N95 include big improvments...
Looking at the specifications n95 kick *** on the camera, wlan and internal memory, it's basicly the use of these aditional functions and how much better they are... (N95 is noware near a normal camera, compare photos).
The wlan is very, very nice but not always working (login via webpages example like for some operators demading that), and the internal memory isn't that big on either one...

Looking at for sales add and the price is also
a good index of expectation vs delivered...
And there are way to many n95 on sale (only a couple of days old)

i bought mobile 7 and recieved the code and registered............. i then downloaded this edition and used the same code as the one i purchased for another and it worked. i can confirm this works seamlessly an a nokia n95 using the internal gps. so who knows it may work for them if purchased a code for an earlier edition

Hi,
I don't mean to be rude but did you read the post's???
Anyhow there is no cracked version of the included version on 6110,
but you can install the route 66 version 7.x.xxx you read about in this forum.
the maps are for those versions. And yes, from version 7.3.486 and upwards
it works with the built in GPS on the 6110 Navigator...
For good maps you can also use Nokia maps,
download from Nokias official site since it's free...

No, not with the included version (on 6110 Navigator).
BUT, for aditional maps install from version 7.3.486 and upwards,
start it via programs since it's a separate program...
On that version you get free maps, trafic, etc (see other posts).

I read the entire post.. and this got brought up a couple times but was never really answered..

What does it mean by unpatched?? I understand the previous version (486) you need a cert file and to sign the app before installing.

Can the same method be applied to this version? or does it need to be "patched" to a unsigned version first?

2, Copy the Maps into the Folder called \System\Apps\Route 66\Maps
3, Install the App
4, Select Activate Via Internet

I installed the unsigned 95 545 version and used my activation that i used for a previous 520 version
It is finally working great with the internal GPS

Another question, but how are you going to do step 2.

If you havent done step 3 before..

the order of step 2 and 3 isn't important.
It will still work aslong as you do both.
Connect the phone in Data transfer mode or memory card in an external reader, and make sure windows see hidden files and folders.

your applications get signed.
There are cracked versions available (but 545 is higer then 520)

what is the activation code ?
Any 16 digits or letters on the cracked versions.
Enter it under registration over internet =)

Available on usenet. Zipped .nzb attached. Perhaps someone with high speed will up this to rs or whatever.

This is the new build that runs on N95, but it need to be patched first.

The maps can be used on older versions too. They are dated 01-22-07 and include:

HI,

I tried everything, i am desperate!!!

i have also the certificate to sign unisgned .sis

I install the CD (setup.exe) from my PC and it installs the complete SW and maps in the microSD.

Then i copy the cracked , signed sis and it completes the installation susccessfully but it doesnt show on the list of icons!!
I tried also with a clean microSD from factory with basic installation of sw.

whats wrong?

did u try .520 or .486 with nokia E90? is it ok full screen?

Rapidshare keeps messing me about and not letting me download, I wait 3 hours, then it fails and comes up with excuses trying to get me to pay, which I just dont want to for one file.

Can anybody send me via torrent or any other method a Route 66 Mobile 7 map of France before tomorrow night? I am going there and have a big chunk of driving to do :(

First Of All Hi Guys!!! Justsigned up and cos I saw a few stressed out people trying to get r66 working on n95

Right after a few hours of stress myself i got it working, after numerous failures and stress over getting the damned thing signed.

Whole process took me less than 3 minutes to sort out in the end. heres what I did

1. I got hold of a file called
Route66.Mobile.v7.3.545.Multilanguage.S60v3.x.Symb ianOS9.x.Cracked.UnSigned.SIS

you will find it in the usual places :)

2. register at symbian signed . com and download the DevCertRequest Tool

3. get hold of a file pack called signsis from
http://www.box.net/public/fnrb0co113

make a folder somewhere and extract above file into it and add your unsigned r66 . sis file

load up devcert...

Arr sod it ... Follow this guide found and Props must go to the author, cos it worked like a F***king dream!!!

One tip thou when you install it on you n95 , scroll through and view the certificate info , cos when i just went click click click , it didnt install first time but it did after i looked at the info !! Also Once I had it installed I found this!

I ran this and it updated fine even thogh its the same version!

1. Create a new folder on your desktop containing the unsigned SIS and the two files from signsis_files.zip.

You must now create a name and an output directory for the cert request you will be creating. Give it any name and choose the folder that you created in step 1 for the output directory. Then hit next.

8. On the final screen simply click Finish.

9. You will now see four new files in the folder you created in step 1.

10. Now go to www.symbiansigned.com (http://www.symbiansigned.com) and log in.

11. Click on the "My Symbian Signed" tab, then click on "Developer (http://www.mobile9.com/invboard/index.php?showtopic=37281#) Certificates".

12. Click "Request" under "Developer Certificates". Then browse to the CSR file in the folder you created in step 1.

Once the CSR is uploaded, simply click on "My DevCerts" in the menu on the left and you will see a link to download your newly created certificate (CER file). Save it in the folder you created in step 1.

You now have everything you need to sign your SIS file.

Open auto_signsis.bat in MS Notepad. You will see that is currently contains the following:

CODE
signsis xyz.sis xyz_signed.sis xyz.cer xyz.key 12345

Replace every "xyz" as appropriate. So if your unsigned file (and all of the files you named above) is called "MyApp", then the text in the batch file should read:

CODE
signsis MyApp.sis MyApp_signed.sis MyApp.cer MyApp.key 12345

Save the batch file (choose Save, not Save As) and exit.

Now just go back to the folder you created in step 1 and double-click on auto_signsis.bat. Your newly signed SIS file will be created in the same folder for you to install and enjoy. :)

either the 468 or 545 version would be great have signed ... (then you don't have to register, right?) I could't sign up with symbian signed... unfortunatly.

There's no codes or cr4ck, you just have to sign the application before installing on your phone

Reinstall application. Most of the times aplication will nto work right with firmware update. Some will work some will not and have to be reinstalled.

I'm having a problem where the tracking is very jerky and erratic. Sometimes it shows me way off the road or paused at the same spot. Anyone else have these issues. It happens even when I have signal from 5 satellites.

I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone here who's posted help.

I'm new to this stuff, but with all the help on here I've managed to sign the sis file, install it and get the software working. Now all I have to do is get the GB map to download and I'll be away.

i had install v7.3.486 on my N95 8gb... but it can find the internal GPS.

Only display "NO GPS".

In Preferences-> GPS -> says "NO DEFAULT GPS"

When i start route 66 v7, it ask to Bluetooth device.

So, what can i do ?

Hello !

Today, i try use N95 GPS.

Using the own software GPS DATA(from Nokia), it works.

Using the own software MAPS(from Nokia), it works.

Using the software GARMINXT , it works.

But route 66 mobile 7, the both versions, 7.3.486 and 7.3.545, it dont get work.

I dont know why...

I´ll use GarminXT until someone release a Mobile 8 cracked and working version.

the symbian site isnt working anymore , sorry for my bad english .
I cannot sign anymore, when i get to the screen open signed , then request , i get this :

i have tried everything to get r66 cert signed even through all process of d/loading wizard from symbian but the new one requires you to have a publisher id. i have r66 redy to put on my phone.
can anybody help me and get it signed and a bit instruction as to put it on my n95.
