Samsung E900 White Screen

I have received a Samsung E900 that has been dropped, the handset is fully working but the phone displays a white screen. Is this problem hardware or software? I didn't think it is the flex cable as the phone is fully working.

Any advice or links are greatly appreciated!

Problem was the LCD; replaced and everything is fine.
