d500 screen

have been given a d500 will sometimes turn on ok most times the screen will flash white or just a white screen mainly when the slider is up turn the phone off then turn on still the same if i take out battery wait a couple of mins put battery back in will then turn on ok the phone has also been submerged in water for a few mins is it knackered or is it the ribbon

have the phone treated for water damage and check the ribbon whilst phone is dismantled

have treated the phone for waterdamage and the ribbon looks fine no tears or creases
