Hey guy's!
I finally did it! Got the TomTom 6, the HTC S710 and the Holux GPSlim236 to work together!
I've used all the information I found on a lot of forums across the internet. Put it all together with different software, including a small application for getting the cursor to work since the Smartphone doesn't have the touchscreen feature.

http://www.imgplace.com/directory/dir438/1185981949.jpg

Get the file from here (this has no maps - you have to pay for the maps or download it somewhere):
-> http://rapidshare.com/files/46342453/TomTom6.exe

Extract the file TomTom6.exe to somewhere - i.e your Desktop

Copy these two directories to your SD-card:
- sphelper
- 2577

Use the File Explorer to goto the directory 2577. Then start the file ttn and let it install.
Note: Install TomTom onto the SD-card.

Make sure you copy any maps you may have to your SD-card NOW!! And it should be copied to the root of the SD-card.
Then start the application from the Start menu. It's called TomTom Navigator.
Once you start there will be a few questions to answer. Don't worry if you cannot select the correct GPS COM-port now. We will make those changes later. Just make sure you select Other Bluetooth GPS-reciever from the GPS menu. Then choose a random COM-port number - or just press the left key on your device to confirm. Make sure you exit the application after the installation.

Make sure your Bluetooth GPS reciever and the phone is connected and paired. If you don't know if it's working you can download the software called GPS Utilities from http://www.efficasoft.com

Then you must properly set the GPS COM-port number in the file called navigator.cfg
This file can be found on your Smartphone under the following directory: Phone Storage\Program Files\Navigator
Copy the file to your Desktop and edit this file with the software found under the TomTom6 folder called xvi32 - start it with XVI32.EXE
Note: (this is a Windows application - NOT to be used on the Smartphone device!).
Look for the line called COMx where x is your port number that is already there - i.e COM6. Highlight the number with your mouse cursor and change it to whatever your COM-port number is.

http://www.imgplace.com/directory/dir438/1185981624.jpg

Save the edited file and copy/move it back overwriting the older file.

Then start the sphelper software on your Smartphone from within the sphelper directory that you copied earlier. (The application has the cursor icon when you browse it using the File Explorer.)
For instructions on use of this software please check out their help and/or manual.

You can now use the TomTom Navigator connected to your Bluetooth GPS reciever with your choice of COM-port.
Then use the sphelper application to help you navigate certain features inside TomTom6. Hope everything works the way you want!!

Enjoy and good luck!!

The cursor doesn't work on my HTC. It boots really slow and can't select any items. Can't use TomTom now because selecting a city and adress isn't possible. Any other solutions? For instance getting the qwerty keyboard working?

Edit: Just read somewhere that its better to install TomTom mobile 5.2. Can anyone confirm that? Haven't got the HTC right now.

Damn' I get the error "Your devie is incompatible with TomTom NAVIGATOR". I've done exactly the thing's you've said. This error occurs when I run TomTom Navigator from the menu after selecting the language (English US). what can be wrong?
