View Full Version : Help: Relocked after software update, SE K790a
I have a SE K790a and I used kulankendi to unlock my phone and tested it. But my phone kept randomly rebooting and freezing on me after i've done it.
Yesterday it rebooted while i was in an international call. I got fed up. Put the phone on sony update service and updated it. Now it tells me incorrect sim !!!!!!
It got LOCKED again.
Now I have R1JG001 software and if I look network is LOCKED when I go into the service menu.
Phone Color: Red
Phone CID: 52
Status Ok, OTP Close, CID49, PAF1
Phone EROM: R3A016 prgCXC1250582_EROM_DB2020_EVITA_FOTA_SIMLOCK_FLAFL A_SIBLEY_SEMCUSB
Flashpatch unlocked phone + SEUS update afterwards = CID52 relocked phone..
Only solution now = 50€ log unlocking with daVinci..
I thought I unlocked it. Unlocked it so I can update it....?? So what I did was just "patch it" ?
Yes off course you did unlock it, but the catch with this unlocking method (flashpatch) is that phone's are relocked again when reflashing or updating trough SEUS..If you want your phone to be permanent unlocked, you need the code from the actuall provider, or as for you now with CID 52 phone, 50€ log and unlocking with DaVinci, then it will be permanent unlocked..
I'll guess you also have all locks closed? Check menu: <**<
The best thing to do is buy 2 logs, then first flash to latest fw, but not erom update to CID 52, then unlock..Not sure if 2 logs needed with KK for this though..Better if KK himself answer..
For now, stay away from CID52 if possible..

is it possbile to clash to CID51 or CID49 again? or you can only go up?

Do not know what all means, except no 5 ESL= Extended Sim Lock..
Downgrade CID, not possible...
Just have some patience, soon there will be other CID52 unlock solutions than DaVinci..
