what is wrong here in BB8100 sim lock menu???

With sim card inside
first turn of bluetooth and wireless

Entering unlocking codes:
1 - Using the menu go to Application Menu -> Option -> Advanced Option -> SIM card press select.
2 - While holding the SHIFT key(right down key-looks like enter), type “MEPDD”
3 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.
4 - While holding the ALT KEY(left down key 2 arrows), "MEPP2”
5 - Release the alt key.
6 - You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (will also state how many attempts left)
7 - Enter the code
8 - Enter Return/Enter
9 - The device should then be unlocked
10- Turn On wireless

i saw this on allgsmunlock forum but when i do it i can not see the sim lock menu like other models only when i type the second line for entering the code i got a window asking me for the code and there is tries left number so is it ok to get the code for this one or i shuld do something first as i do not want to loose my logs for nothing.

well..for me MEPPD not worked but MEPDD worked fine..
and in second MEP2(while pressing 2 leave the shift button)(and must bee see up arrow on corner if not then press ALT and then enter...)
after that automatically will ask u for code and voila..its done..
mostly there we misteks on typing (for that u can open message and there u can practice for what you need to type..for understand how it works)
