Here in China we get all of the latest news from the horse's mouth. When you where hearing about iPhone we already knew that the new iPods would be released at the end of August. You will see them this month when Apple makes its announcement. Well iPhone 1st gen seems to be Apples toe in the water. I hear that iPhone 2nd gen is just around the corner. This is very important news for those who are in the accessory business like we and a few 100 other Apple accessory Chinese manufacturers are. iPhone was to be the next iPod accessory boom but its price and some shortcoming may be in its way. A lot of this should be resolved in the 2nd gen. Apple is in a race to keep the iPod / iPhone shine in the public's eye before the big smart phone companies do their song and dance.
