I've the same problem
I've tried so far with FW 1.3.0 and today with 1.5.5d.
A little ago i tested it with ADSL connection
always the same....

do not play with firmwares, it can lock UR card forever.

with some test with gustav.glueckli user, he did found that after close some processes in windows help to correctly read data. I still dont know what cause this problem coz I have tested it on 3 different computers and works. Looks like some processes block something,coz at first attempts all took about 2 seconds and show error , after close some processes it took 0 seconds and unlock. Hope it will help to some furutre users who will have similar problem

how fast connection U have? some users report this problem on slow connections. Also last time one user had same problem and he close some windows processes what cause this problem.
