I have looked everywhere and pretty much talk to anyone, and you all are the only ones who seem to give me any hope that this will ever happen. I really want to unlock my LG CU500. I loved that phone, it has all my pics from home on it and all my pics of my papa, before he passed this June (2007). My husband is in the military and we are stationed in Germany for the next 3 years. We had got Cingular before we left to go here from Virginia. Well, they told us when we signed up some bull crap that the military had a contract with Cingular, that a tower was on every military base. So we got Cingular in hope that it would actually work in Germany so my husband would be able to talk to me while i was still in Va waiting to be able to go to Germany to live with him. Well Cingular lied and told us that if we got the international plan that if me and him were to talk, it would only cost us mobile to mobile minutes. No roaming and stuff like that. WELL when we got our first bill, it was almost $4000!!! We were shocked. They had gave us the run around and told us that we would have had to know, but we honesly DID NOT know..they had never told us about roaming charges!! SO we got our local member of congress on it, and he straightened it out so that we only had to pay the regualr fees for the only one month that we had it. We got them cut off as soon as we got the first bill too as they were not cooperating. Well, we have these LG CU500s and we LOVE these phones mainly because we have pics from home and such on them and they were just awsome phones. Well we tried calling Cingular for the UNLOCK codes, but OF COURSE the won't give them to us. SO I was wondering if you would help us out. We have T-Mobile D (german t-mobile) and want to use it with that, but don't know if it is possible. I would be very appretiative of any information you could give us! Maybe perhaps an unlock code? I know how to get to the promt where if asks for NCK code..but other than that Im cluesless. Im new with all of this and I am trying to learn. Thank you in advance!
