I have a nokia 3310 and have been trying to flash it etc.. Always comes up with the message phone doesnt respond. I thought this could be due to the fact that on the screen it just says 'insert SIM' , this could mean that the phone is in an ofline state?? Does anyone else flash phones with the SIM in or out...

Thanx

depending on your method of flash, probably wrong chip selected. Try NU2000 prog, will do most nokias easy thru dejan cables, one click unlock.

Hi bleem2K
if you using dejan interface, you can have sim in your phone, couse when you starting flash, you have phone off and after dejan waiting for ignition, you will press pwr button for short time... I had no problem with 3310's... No one switch on to the state (Insert pin,or insert sim)

I agree with looker. I successfully unlocked several 3310's, all with SIM inside. Be sure to turn off the phone until it asks you to short press the power button. Check your connector and the cable.

Hope that helps. :D
