Don't ask other body for somebody's reputation, becouse not everybody can get same treatment......maybe he is bad for you, but perfect for somebody else, so nobody can make clear that if somebody is good to cooperate or not.
Only way is just to do it, a trial order, the first order, the second order....then you can assure that if your supplier is good for you or not, nothing without risk in business world.
