hi all
anyone can suggest how to work to remove parts on for example E700 full ribbon to remove the components without damaging the screens and the ribbon itself? What temperature to use to be in a safe range?
thanks for any help
When removing or changing parts with plastic, for better results you should preheat and use handheld at low temperature enough to melt the lead and with more time. You should do and practice first on a dead pcb not on customers phone.

@Burnt Cobba
1-Use kappton tape for protect the lcd module
2-Try to exclude the lcd from direct expose with heat
3-prepare the placement component first to not take much time in replacement
4-make the removal steps first then start to fit the new parts .

I ussualy work with plastic (socket LCD, battery, SIM CARD socket, joystik) i use rework station / handheld hot air with teqnique :
1. put the material with the plastic materi ( phone PCB) on electric warmer (not electric stove) above 5 minutes
2. **** around the plastic material (not direct, but around of media) with heat 250' Celcius (about heat I ussualy use instink of my skin)
3. when go **** it around, try to move the material with iron pick gently, I guarranty 100% nothing plastic, carbon, will destruct
In my country, lot of spare of phone use plastic with lower grade that come from china ( easy melt with hot), I use this teqnique nothing melt.
I hope this can help U. sorry 4 my bad english
