Can i update my phone to cid 51? I'ts cid 49 right now and i prefer to keep it this way than to get a cid 52 phone!!

Does a EROM update undo the patch unlock?

there are 2 different things:

EROM CID and EROM UPDATE, do not mistake both.

1. EROM CID update is operation to make HIGHER CID number in phone(higher protection from SE)
2. EROM UPDATE is operation what will update EROM CODE(like BIOS) to R3A016 what have fix for prevent self off phone and RED blinking. This operation do not lock back phone.

so if U want to only CID update from 49 to 51 then U can do it. EROM CID update window is shown when U trying to flash MAIN + FS with Finalization option selected. In UR case U will have 2 choices: CID51 and CID52, so if U will select CID51 then KK will change CID to 51.

This operation do not undo patch unlock if U will not flash UR phone(MAIN), to prevent flashing after change CID do:

if U have now CID49 in phone:
Load MAIN and FS for CID49 into KK and select Finalization option. Click Exectute and connect phone, KK will show window and ask for CID number, select CID what U need to have in phone(remember CID52 can't be after unlocked by patch if somone will reflash phone and lock it back), KK will change CID,reboot phone and show error that FILE and PHONE CID MISSMATCH and stop. Error will be shown coz now phone will have HIGHER CID but U before loader CID49 files :) So with this way KK will only change CID and do not flash/lock back phone.

I disabled option for self change CID number coz users used it without knowlede and lose credits. So now is the only one way to change CID number.
