Make sure that your iphone version is 1.0.2...

if not here is the link:
iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw (http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-3823.20070821.vormd/iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw)

open your itunes hold shift then select the 1.0.2 firmware...

unlocking:

1. jailbreak your iphone 1st usewiNstaller.rar (http://www.sendspace.com/file/2a3i2h)

2.

A. Run ibrickr.exe click on Applications and Follow the instructions to configure your phone to install third party applications. During this process you will need to reboot a couple of times. When you are done, there should be a big button with the text Browse applications. Click that button, and click on "Installer" in the list of applications. When it's done installing your phone will soft restart. A new icon called Installer should be on your phone now, tap on it to start it.

B. If you are not already connected to internet using Wifi, the phone will prompt you to do that. When you are connected to internet tap the Refresh button in bottom right corner. On the top tap Update. You will find a new version of Installer there - tap on it and Update. When done, press the home button on the phone to return to the home screen (springboard) and tap on the Installer icon again. Now find Community Sources in the list and install it. When done, press the home button again.

3. In iBrickr AGAIN, click the "Browse applications" button again, and select anySIM in the list to install it. When your phone refreshes, you should find an anySIM icon on your phone now.

Before you start anySIM, go to Settings → General → Autolock and set it to Never. Now you can press home button, and tap on the anySIM icon.

Slide to unlock, and read to the bottom and tap the red button. This process will take some time, so just sit back and relax. When it's done, you get a message telling the result. If it's an error make note of that error, but don't worry yet.

Insert a SIM from a carrier of your choice.
If you get signal, your phone is unlocked and you are done!

ALL YOU NEED (http://www.sendspace.com/file/erzbo2):D

---------------------------------------------------------------

v1.1.1 How to downgrade and unlock

ALL YOU NEED:

Download Installer-2.63.pxl http://iphone.exploit.org/pxl/Installer-2.63.pxl

Download Open SSH here : http://iphone.exploit.org/pxl/OpenSSH-4.6p1.pxl

Download Putty here: http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.exe

OR

ALL IN ONE (http://www.sendspace.com/file/6jneto) <----- SECPACK here

You will also need bbupdater, which i can't post, but there are 1000 ways to get it.

Last you need open normal WiFi access.

Same rules follow as last guide: READ EVERY STEP BEFORE DOING IT!

1) Make Sure iphone is off. Open itunes (Ver 7.4.1.2)

2) plug your phone into your PC, and as soon as the gray apple appears, press and hold both power and home buttons. Hold for exactly 10 seconds, then let go of just the power button.(If you look very closely, after about 7 seconds the screen will power down and pixelate, this is the lead in to the hidden restore state.) After about another 15 Seconds of holding down the Home button, itunes will find your iphone and say it needs to restore.

3) Shift - Restore and select the 1.0.2 Firmware. When it completes it will give you "1013" error message, press ok, and do not restore again... Just close itunes.

***From this point on you may have to run apptapp several times, depending on your PC***

4) Open apptapp, select 1.0.2, and press ok. AppTapp should go thru the whole process, and may give you an error. Close AppTapp and open it again. Run AppTapp again on 1.0.2, and it should complete without an error.

***If at this step you do not see the "Waiting for Activation" screen, you will have an extra step. if you dont skip below the star.

*)If you have a Yellow Triangle still, you wil need to go into the folder you unzipped ibrickr. There is a icon that says iphoneinterface.exe. Double click, and you will get a prompt you can type from. Type "setenv auto-boot true" then hit enter. Then type "saveenv" then hit enter again. Last type "fsboot" and hit enter again. Close the command window, and after about 5 seconds you will see the Activation screen on your iphone, you may have to turn off and back on.

5) Open Itunes, let it "see" the iphone, close itunes, then Run AppTapp one last time, then Run Paycay to Jailbreak.(if you need detailed instructions for these steps look at my previous guide steps 7 and 8)

6) You should now be unbricked, and jailbroken. Go to Settings -> General -> Auto lock -> set to never. Open iBrickr, and click applications.
Install fast-iunlocker.pxl, installer.pxl, and OpenSSH-4.6p1.pxl

7) Now go to the files menu on iBrickr, and click on /usr, when it changes directory, click on /bin. You will need to uploadthe following files to this directory: ICE03.14.08_G.eep, ICE03.14.08_G.fls, bbupdater, secpack, and ieraser

8) Make sure you are connected to WiFi on your PC, and on the iphone. Get your ip address from your iphone(click settings, wifi, select a network, press the little blue arrow to look at details, and you ip address should be here)
Open Putty, it will have the correct settings already, all you will need to do is enter the ip address that you got from above, and hit Open at the bottom.

9) Putty will open a new terminal window. if you are using a pay wifi access point you may have some issues here, thus the recommendation of a normal wifi connection above. Putty will open and it will ask you for a username, enter "root"
next it will ask you for a password... this can take a few seconds depending on your connection. type "dottie", and hit enter.(if you do not get a prompt for a password, close putty and relogin. it can take a couple of tries)

10) You are in the root of your iphone. type "launchctl remove com.apple.CommCenter" (capitals ARE required)

11) Now type cd /usr/bin (this will change you to the right directory, on one phone it would not allow me to do this and i had to cd /usr then hit enter, then cd /bin then hit enter again...not sure why)

12) You are now in the folder where all of the files you copied over. Type "chmod 775 ieraser" then hit enter. Next type "chmod 775 bbupdater" then hit enter.
now type "bbupdater -v" it should poll the firmware, and report back after a few seconds.

13) Type "ieraser". You are now erasing your firmware!(if it hangs while looking for files, you will have to close out putty and start from step 11 again)

14) When ieraser finishes run "bbupdater -v" again and it will fail, this is ok. When it fails type in "bbupdater -e ICE03.14.08_G.eep -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls", you are now reloading your firmware.

15)When it completes, type in "bbupdater -v" one last time and it will give you your correct firmware version.(a couple of times after the update finished "Putty" would show up on the command line...just delete it and type in the command)

16) Click on iunlock on your springboard, press start. Wait until it finishes, then turn off your iphone. If this is a Virgin iphone, take out the ATT Sim and say "This sim has been freed by The Liberator! AKA CarlosValdosta!!!" <-- Very important step!

17) Put your sim in and turn on your Unlocked iphone FW 1.0.2!

18) Go back to applications on ibrickr, remove iunlock.pxl, and the openSSh.pxl...and if you want the installer.pxl.

19) Have Fun!

Some will also encounter problem esp. with iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw which is immediately rejected by some Firewall thus reported as broken link because of extra long DNS request. Disabling your firewall may sort out this problem...

But the question is that is going to work on the new baseband released by apple : 4.02.04 1.11 (3b13 ), because the secpack we have here is from 4.01.13 1.11 ( 3a109 ).

Use this ONLY if you have a OTB 1.1.1 and never messed with the baseband!!

I am not a pro on this topic, but this is how i got two iphones unlocked last night

First use this to access safari on a OTB 1.1.1
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...9&postcount=11

- After running the TIFF exploit you need to restart your iPhone
- After restarting it you may need to dial *3001#12345#* to make the iPhone connect to your WiFi, other way it won't connect
- Set auto-lock on your phone as "never"
- Get TouchFree (it works on iPhone too) http://www.slovix.com/touchfree/touchfree-setup.exe
- After touchfree finishes you should restart your iphone and get to the springboard
- Now get WinSCP (http://winscp.net/download/winscp404setup.exe)
- Connect to your iPhone using WinSCP
- Get AnySIM 1.1
- Upload AnySIM 1.1 to the /Applications folder
- Download this file http://r a p i d s h a r e.com/files...1/killall.html
- Upload it to your /usr/bin
- Set permissions to 0655 (if you get problems later, try setting them to 0755)
- You may have to change permissions to the file calles "anySIM" inside the "anySIM.app" you just uploaded, set them to 0755
- Run Installer from your springboard
- Install BSD Subsystem from Installer
- Restart your phone
- Run anySIM 1.1
- Restart your phone again
- Get this file: here (http://r a p i d s h a r e.com/files/63231299/lockdownds.zip.html)
- Upload the three files to your /usr/libexec folder on your iphone
- Set permissions to 0755 to the three files
- Rename the file called lockdownd on your /usr/libexec folder to lockdownd.back
- Rename the file lockdownd.1.0.2 to lockdownd
- Download iAsign (http://codymays.net/files/iASign-v0.2.tar.bz2)
- There is a file called iphoneactivation.pem under the /iAsign/bin/ folder of the zip you just downloaded
- Uploaded to your iphone, to the folder /System/Library/Lockdown
- Get Putty from here http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.exe
- Connect to your iPhone using putty
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd"
- Now run this command from a command line on your pc (without the quotes) "iasign --automatic iPhoneActivation_private.pem"
- Your iphone should popup a message telling you that it is Activated
- Now rename lockdownd to lockdownd.1.0.2 using WinSCP
- Now rename lockdownd.swap to lockdownd using WinSCP
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd" on putty
- Restart your phone
- And it should be unlocked by now
- Now use this tutorial to get YouTube activated:
- You are all set now

Tutorial: iPhone 1.1.1 is free - configure int Keyboard, install apps and more
Once you freed your iPhone to 1.1.1 with or without the use of an "unlock" like Turbosim, you might wanna go the next steps.
Its all here in the forum but on several places, so I compiled some next-steps-information. I am again not claiming any credit. It's all based on the work of the dev team and contributort here, I just compiled and tested it.

1. You activated early with the dev team's solution (without iNdependence 1.2.2 or 1.2.3)

You are missing two features compared to ppl that have been waiting for iNdependence 1.2.2 and used that for activation: You can't access the iPhone via SFTP cause the sftp-server is missing, plus you can't use YouTube, get a message like "You must first connect to iTunes with a Internet connection to enable YouTube".

Files you need to solve the problems:

iNdependence 1.2.2 or 1.2.3 (sftp-server is part of it)
http://code.google.com/p/independence/

YouTube files
HERE (http://www.rapidshare.com/files/49054918/theThreeFiles1.zip.html)
HERE (http://rapidshare.com.com/files/49054919...iles2.zip.html)

Textwrangler
http://www.barebones.com/products/te...download.shtml

sftp-server
Make sure the iPhone is on, set "Settings->General->Auto-Lock" to "Never" while following these steps, makes you iPhone not fall asleep.
Open the iNdependence dmg and do a ctrl-click on the software. In the appearing menu select "Show package content". Open "Contents->Resources" and copy the file "sftp-server" to the desktop.
Open the Terminal (Programms->Utilities) and type
cd Desktop/
then
scp -rp sftp-server root@xxx.xxx.x.xx:/usr/libexec/
(replace xxx.xxx.x.xx with your iPhone's IP number, you need your root password, if you did not change it, it's alpine)
SFTP will work then, use Cyberduck or any other FTP client then. Can't remember if you need to shut down/ start or reboot the phone once to use SFTP...

YouTube
Fire up the FTP client of your choice (Cyberduck or so). Start a new connection and use your iPhones IP as the server; for user type root; for password type the one you have choosen; if you did not change the password type alpine; Protocol is SFTP; Port is 22; path is /.
Connect to the iPhone and make sure you are at the top-directory.
Switch to directory
/private/var/rootLibrary/
Copy the folder "Lockdown" as a backup to your desktop just in case you screw up ;-) Then open Lockdown on the iPhone. Unpack one of the downloaded zips "TheThreeFiles" (i used theThreeFiles2.zip). Copy the three files into the folder "Lockdown" and replaces the ones sitting there.
Start TextWrangler. The free Textprocessor for Mac (BBedit's little brother) allows to alter .plis files without screwing them up. Dont use Apples TextEdit!
Open the file data_ark.plist from "The Three files" you just copied to the iPhone and look for "<key>-DeviceCertificate</key>" and copy the tag below
<data>
LS0tLS1CRUdJTi.......
</data>
including <data> and </data> to a new text file.
Now open the Folder "activation_records" on the iPhone. There is a .plis file inside. Copy it to the desktop and open with TextWrangler.
Look for the line
<key>DeviceCertificate</key>
and replace the <data> .... </data> tag below with the one you just copied from data_ark.plist. Save and copy back / replace the .plist file. In Cyberduck go back one step (to Lockdown) and open the folder "pair_records".
Again look for
<key>DeviceCertificate</key>
Below That you probably find
<data> </data>. Replace again with the part you copied and save. Copy back / replace the .plist file
Restart the iPhone and YouTube should be working.

2. You activated early with the dev team's solution (without iNdependence 1.2.2 or 1.2.3) and did the steps above OR you activated with iNdependence 1.2.2.

In both cases you are able to FTP into your iPhone and have YouTube. To enable the international keyboard, patch the springboard to allow more apps there are few steps to do. For working with .plist files please use free TextWrangler cause Apples TextEdit might screw up the files.

[EDIT]
If you used iNdependence 1.2.3 you may skip most of the steps in "Install more apps". During activation and Jailbreak the patch is done automatically
You still have to do the following to install the software Installer on the iPhone:
--
The app we choose is Installer.app from Nullrivers AppTapp Installer 3.1. The Mac installer still does not work, you have to install it manually first.
ctrl-click on the programm "AppTapp Installer" and choose "Show package content" in the menu. Open "Contents/Resources" and copy "Installer" to the desktop.
Fire up your FTP-Client and connect to the iPhone. Open "Applications" and copy "Installer" in there. Click Installer once to aktvate it and hit command I for Information then. Make sure access privileges are set to 755. Close FTP-Client.
--
If you used iNdependence 1.2.2 to activate you can still use the steps described in the tutorial below to patch the springboard or use the "SpringBoardPatcher" that comes as additional app with iNdependence 1.2.3.
You simply doubleclick "SpringBoardPatcher" in Finder or use the Terminal to execute.
[/END EDIT]

Files you need to solve the problems:

Textwrangler
http://www.barebones.com/products/te...download.shtml

1.1.1-Jailbreak
http://iphone.conceitedsoftware.com/1.1.1-jailbreak.zip

AppTapp Installer 3.1 from
http://iphone.nullriver.com:16080/beta/

1. Enable international keyboard
Fire up your FTP client and connect to the iPhone. Move to
/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
Look for the file
M68AP.plist
and download it to the desktop. Make a copy (backup) just in case you screw up. Open the origilal with TextWrangler. Around line 15 you will find
<key>international</key>
<false/>
change that to
<key>international</key>
<true/>
save the file and copy back / Replace to the iPhone. Reboot the iPhone (Hold Start and Home button until the Apple logo shows up, then release the buttons). On the iPhone goto "Settings->General". You will find the new topic "International" - set it to your choice.

2. Install more apps
As long as you dont want to use SummerBoard (Alpha 1.1.1) you have to patch the springboard to be able to hold more apps. This is well documented by the dev team here in step 6.
http://www.iphonegoboom.com/jailbreak/jailbreak111.html
If you did not do it there or used iNdependence 1.2.2 is about time to do it now. I have beenediting it a little on the end.
Unzip 1.1.1-jailbreak.zip, open the unzipped folder and copy the file springpatch to your desktop.
Open the Terminal (Programms->Utilities) and type
cd Desktop/
then
scp -rp springpatch root@xxx.xxx.x.xx:/usr/bin
(replace xxx.xxx.x.xx with your iPhone's IP number)

Connect to the iPhone with Terminal
ssh -l root xxx.xxx.x.xxx
(replace xxx.xxx.x.xx with your iPhone's IP number, you need your root password, if you did not change it, it's alpine. In Terminal type
springpatch

You should see some text from the dev team.
Reboot the iPhone (Hold Start and Home button until the Apple logo shows up, then release the buttons).

Fire up your FTP client and connect to the iPhone. Move to
/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
Look for the file
M68AP.plist
and download it to the desktop. Make a copy (backup) just in case you screw up. Open the original with TextWrangler.

This is the new "DisplayOrder.plist". The application MUST be placed just before the MobileStore application. The reason for this is that MobileStore is placed at the end of the Springboard to specifically hide other applications. Adding at least one application appears to break free from this.

In TextWrangler on the opened file M68AP.plist look for

<dict>
<key>displayIdentifier</key>
<string>com.apple.MobileStore</string>
</dict>

just before that enter

<dict>
<key>displayIdentifier</key>
<string>com.nullriver.iphone.Installer</string>
</dict>

so that this part reads

<dict>
<key>displayIdentifier</key>
<string>com.nullriver.iphone.Installer</string>
</dict>
<dict>
<key>displayIdentifier</key>
<string>com.apple.MobileStore</string>
</dict>

Save and copy back / replace M68AP.plist to the iPhone.
Reboot the iPhone (Hold Start and Home button until the Apple logo shows up, then release the buttons).

One note: Once you got Installer on the iPhone you can easy install more apps now. BUT: Some of the apps listet in Installer might not be ready for 1.1.1. Check first with
http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/ind...I_Applications
and hit the links for apps you are interested in. Some still need to be installed manually (FTP) and are in alpha.

Alternate way to choose wifi

1. Slide to reach the emergency dial screen

2. enter *#307# and then press call

3. Your phone will ring itself, press answer

4. Press hold now and your phone will start ringing again

5. Press Dismiss and your phone will go into the contacts/dial screen

6. Press contacts from the bottom bar and add a contact

7. Add a contact with a random name and homepage as >> prefs://1F

8. Save it and click on the contact's homepage. this will take you straight into the setting menu of the iPhone, and you can take all the time to select a WIFI network!

----------------------------------------------------

Once thats done continue :

- Get TouchFree (it works on iPhone too) http://www.slovix.com/touchfree/touchfree-setup.exe (Get/Install .Net Framework 3.0 before you move on)

// If you are having trouble with touch free (like it gets stuck at step 2 and stuff, uninstall the old version and use this one : http://www.slovix.com/touchfree/touchfree-alpha.exe)

- Follow the steps on TouchFree (You have to shut down the iPhone 2 times during this process, it will tell you to do it even after the 2nd time you have done it but ignore that and close the program!)
- After touchfree finishes you should restart your iphone and get to the springboard
- Set auto-lock on your phone as "never" (on your iphone: Settings > General > Auto-Lock > Never)
- Now get WinSCP (http://winscp.net/download/winscp404setup.exe)

You can find your iphone ip by going to (on your iphone) settings > Wi-Fi > "Your selected WiFi" > Look under IP Address
- Connect to your iPhone using WinSCP (user: root password: alpine)

Get AnySIM 1.1 (http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/anySIM-1.1.zip)
- Upload AnySIM 1.1 to the /Applications folder (Make sure both the folder anySim.app and the file inside that folder named anysim are chomodded to 0755)

Make sure the directory anySim.app and the FILE named "anysim" inside the directory are chmodded to 0755!!

- Download this file http://rapid$hare.com/files/63229501/killall.html (change the $ sign for an S in the url)
- Upload it to your /usr/bin folder (on the iphone)
- Set permissions to 0655 (if you get problems later, try setting them to 0755)
- Run Installer from your springboard
- Install BSD Subsystem from Installer
- Restart your phone
- Run anySIM 1.1 (MAKE sure your new simcard in inserted) (IF ANYSIM CRASHES, CHMOD the ANYSIM FILES AS STATED ABOVE)
- Restart your phone again
- Get this file: http://rapid$hare.com/files/63231299...ownds.zip.html (change the $ sign for an S in the url)
- Upload the three files to your /usr/libexec folder on your iphone
- Set permissions to 0755 to the three files
- Rename the file called lockdownd on your /usr/libexec folder to lockdownd.back
- Rename the file lockdownd.1.0.2 to lockdownd
- Download iAsign (http://dl.free.fr/dZt8908BH/IASign_win32.zip)

you may need this dlls to run iAsign http://rapid$hare.com/files/63351413/iasign-dlls.zip.html (change the $ sign for an S in the url)

- There is a file called iphoneactivation.pem under the /iAsign/bin/ folder of the zip you just downloaded
- Uploaded to your iphone, to the folder /System/Library/Lockdown
- Get Putty from here http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.exe
- Connect to your iPhone using putty (user: root password: alpine)
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd"
- Extract the iasign folder to your C:/ Drive (That folder can be found in this file >> http://d.turboupload.com/d/2098918/unlock111.zip.html)
- Open a command line in your pc (Start menu > Run > cmd)
- Navigate to the folder where you have iasign.exe (This means you need to point the command prompt to the iasign folder):

- Now run this command from the command line "iasign --automatic iPhoneActivation_private.pem"
- Your iphone should popup a message telling you that it is Activated
- Now rename lockdownd to lockdownd.1.0.2 using WinSCP (This is in /usr/libexec)
- Now rename lockdownd.swap to lockdownd using WinSCP (This is in /usr/libexec)
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd" on putty
- Restart your phone
- And it should be unlocked by now
- You are all set now
