Liking or not depends really on your usage. Both stacks have their positives and negatives. anyway, the widcomm v3 that you have is no good for a different dongle. Search around the forum and go for a later version..

I know you're on the search for widcomm but just from my experience, i'm running on XP with 100% success the bluesoleil 5.0.5.178 with a2dp on both an old CSR 1.1 and 2.0 EDR BELKIN. All you need is the full trial from here: http://www.bluesoleil.com/download/ and the patch from here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=2731615&postcount=32. I also found the bluesoleil version to be less resource demanding then widcomm. You will need to edit the btcusb.inf and bttl.ini and use the btcusb.inf as a source driver. Let us know if you didn't find on the forum how to do that.
