I have my iphone with the version 2.0.1 and when I recieve an SMS it appears in this form 54 911 5*** ***X and it isn´t identify, what I must do to fix this issue and when is a call if I have the contact with the format 11 5*** ***X works fine but if a have the contact as usually you type it 15 5*** ***X (15 identify in Argentina a celular) doesn´t work.

connect to itunes in recovery mode then restore the desired firmware.

After 5 Second Press Power Button (9 Second )
Release Power Button
keep Holding The Home Button
Itune now will Detect Your Iphone In Dfu Mode
Release the home button and restore.

Shabaaz, Restore the iphone in dfu mode. this will delete the usercode.
If this doesn't restore the display. It means that the touch screen (digitalizer) is broken.

i have restored and unlocked all 2g frimware 2.0 and above but having same problem in settings>general>reset>erase All content and settings . when i try to reset it hANGS AT AN APPLE logo. why this problem occurs. i never seen this error in fw1.1.4 . all v2.0 fw sometimes hangs while startup on an apple logo and goes to recoverymode or hangs up will downloading applications via cydia is there any solution need help

but when i am trying to connect it with i tunes software. then it shows the
error message : "i tunes could not connect with phone ( adminstrator by iphonr)bcoz it is locked with a passcode. u must enter a passcode on the i phone befor it can be used with i tunes "

DFU mode Restore will help you. make use of correct firmware always;and correct files needed for JB/Unlocking.
