hi to all,
I need to connect a phone via UART to a microcontroller
I want to remove the battery and use an external power supply to power the phone
I would like to know if there is a Phone able to make an automatic power_on and network registration in case of power_down and power_up. Ex may I use siemens c65 and ignition pin?

Hi,
it is impossible! Solder two wires (+ and -) between the battery connector and your baterry and plug in the cable with autoignition option. To have the autoignition, you need to run one software (like Joker, papuautils...).

do you know wich kind of info the software (like Joker, papuautils...). will send trough the phisical interface to permit a switch on command? (I belevie that they send some AT commands or some electical sequence)

...I don't know...
Only after phone is started, using SiMoCo, have posibility to substitute keyboard (using AT commands).
