This solution is based on stefani's finding about kp202 unlock with PSTool cracked 1.12, and becuase handling of MG280 is buggy (dead phone) in this version.

Here is the solution:

Cable: KG800

1. Connect your phone as KP202, speed 921600 (very important: read note at the end)
2. In advanced tab Save CalcData (optional, just for backup)
3. Press "Repair service not available"

disconnect your phone....unlocked!! ;)

IMPORTANT: Don't press "Repair service not available" with model MG280 selected, because the program will do "repair" and the phone will still locked and you will lost your only chance to unlock as the next time you press this option with any model selected the program will show "No data for repair" and will do nothing.

First of all, thanks on replaying so shortly, i was abble to get the program, canīt seem ablle do conect the phone to pc tough....Donīt know if it's drivers , wrong cable or whatever....if perhaps you could inlights us all in this procedure it would be nice....Anyway thanks for sharing!:)

THIS (http://www.unlockgsm.net/tienda/product_info.php?cPath=21_78&products_id=616) is the cable you need to connect and unlock your phone, select speed 921600, correct COM port, model KP202 and press connect, wait 5 seconds and plug the cable in the phone, press & hold power button until phone is detected by the program....follow the rest of the process.

Hello Guys,

Thanks for this trick for unlocking the MG280. I just tried it and it worked like a charm with my NSPro box and cable set from NSMultiUnlock. I just followed the instructions as described earlier and it worked right the first time. Here is what I did, step by step.

1. Connect NSPRO box
2. Go to device manager in Control Panel and list the ports.
3. Take note of the port number of NSPRO port.
4. Run PSTOOL crack.
5. Select LG, then select Model KP202
6. Select Speed at 921600 and select the same port number. The number should be the same one as listed earlier in the NSPRO port in Control Panel.
7. Click on the "Advanced" tab.
8. With the phone off and disconnected, press "CONNECT" on PStool.
9. Look at the NSPro box, you will see the TX LED blinking yellow.
10. Connect the phone to box using the AT102/KG800 cable. You will see the green ON button light up.
11. Press and hold down the power button the phone. The software will detect the phone. It will look like this:

Flash : Spansion S71PL254J
Software : Not detected V10d
Bad Imei or Imei corrupted..
************************************************** ****
12. When the software is through detecting, you will see and "Ok" showing at the buttom of the screen.
13. Under "Repair "Service Not Available"" Press REPAIR.

THAT'S IT. YOUR PHONE IS UNLOCKED. Your entire screen should look like this:

"Service not available" repaired "
