LG 8120 deactivate UMTS function?

Hello Folks!

I have a LG 8120, and until now my network provider only had GSM (2G), but now started with UMTS (3G), so my standby time changed from 5 days to 2 days.:eek:

Is there a possibility to deactivate the UMTS function, that the phone only uses GSM? I already checked the menu, but there is nothing suitably.

Where do I have to type it in?
I typed it in at standy mode with sim card in it, but the phone does nothing.

I entered the "Tests Menu" now with 47328545454#, maybe it's because my software version is U8120_V104C from 3-Austria, but there are only following points:

1 Factory Reset
2 Factory Version
3 Auto Test
4 LCD &LED
5 Device
6 SW Ver. Info
7 Input ALB URL

Are there other SW versions with a point to deactivate UMTS?
