View Full Version : Some Questions
I have new Simcard's (2002). I've read, that only cardīs before 2001 are supported and I can't get IMSI of newer once. My question is now, I have deactivated card with same number but I nerver try to connect to network after the card was deactivated. Can I get the IMSI and KI of this oler card?
I have a Multiprog2000 card burner and it work fine with gold cards for recievers so would it be function with Simcloning too?
Sorry for my english and thanks for every answer!!
Thanks for Reply's!!!
If you deactivated the old card it won't connect to the network anymore.
You can extract IMSI/KI then re-activate that card with a different number. (Ask your telephone operator)

You could also give the new sims a try... lot's of 2002 sims stil use the old algo... and are still clonable.
Reading Dejan's readme that goes with simscan 1.33 would have given you this info also...

Thank You -=KnOeFz=-
I will try it. I hope it will be funktion!!
I succedded extracting the ki with newer 2002 Cards. Still same Algo.
No problem. Even with the Cardinal Software which is dangerous for newer cards, so don't worry.
If you see something smoking .... then you've done something wrong ;)

See ya all at the beach
But would it be function with the deactivated card too?
You should better define what you mean with deactivated card.
1) If you had a connection to a provider and you discontinued it, then he will have deactivated also your Simcard. (The KI and IMSI of your card)
You still can clone this deactivated card but it will not connect to the network. (the KI and IMSI has been deactivated by your provider.)
2) If your original card has been deactivated (blocked) because you have inserted wrong PUKs then you still can use a clone in case you have extracted the KI and IMSI before the blocking occured.
3) If your card has been deactivated because you ordered a copy ( i.e. you told your provider your card has been stolen) then the KI and IMSI of your old SIM will be different to the new SIM, although they had both te same phone number.
4) why don't you just make a clone of your deactivated card and test if it will work. :) I think it's the easiest solution.
Good Luck

Many thanks to you CH@IN.
That what I mean was point 3) in Your description. So can we say every card has his own KI and IMSI although they have the same number!!

Exactly. In general every GSM SIM card has unique IMSI and KI. Usually just one SIM card is assigned with your account by Operator so once they give you a new card for some reason, the old card can't connect to network anymore. You can use it for test purposes.
Did someone make pictures of the handling with Simchange over the menu?
When someone have please send me per mail. Many thanks!!
Want an AVI video of it? :)
Hahaha Alf, will you send me the avi too? I will make it screensaver for the t68i.
SIR_RID: Hey, just get simemu. The change is sooo easy you really don't need any instruction-manual.

yas this new menu on my handy 8310 and i can chang the line by using the menuhttp://secart.host.sk//files/sim--emu.jpg
Thank You very much cut_r2000, but I can't see the picture:(
Right click on the NOT VISIBLE image, click on properties in the menu now.
You see the line where the URL link is written? Good. Now highlight it with your cursor (Yes, keep the left mouse button pressed while doing so).
Release the left mouseclick and right click it now (stay with your mouse on the highlighted url while doing so).
A new menu will appear. Click on COPY and make a paste on a new explorer window.
Got it?
Great.
Enjoy spoofing around :)
