world first: 2nd sim prob solved

I just repaired my 2nd sim problem in cect T689. fisrt of all it was easy for this model because rxa/txa for first cpu and rxb/txb for 2nd cpu are all under the label ( look under battery cos the label is there). I did a normal complete format for the first cpu and then a normal complete format for 2nd cpu using rxb/txb. what I have noticed in the 2 gsm phone is this: they have 2 cpu but the 2 cpu does not start at the same time. when the first cpu finishes start up the 2nd cpu does its own. consequently when u want to format the 2nd cpu u will wait untill phone starts up and then software will detect the 2nd cpu and start the job( hope u get it).to be more clear when u want to format 2nd cpu u must connect cable wires to rxb/txb and gnd (gnd is alwasy same for the 2 cpu:D) and then when u press power on instead of software to detect phone ur phone will start up. at this point don't be discourage because this start up is for 1rst cpu. after phone is start up software will now detect 2nd cpu and start the format job.
after the 2 cpu are formated the phone imei will chenge. just power on phone and restore imei using rxa/txa for 1rst cpu imei and then restart phone and restore 2nd cpu imei (I use same imei like 1st cpu) using rxb/txb. now after this process ur phone is ok but when u check the imei u will see 2 imeis displayed but all 2 sims will work perfectly.
questions now: in my case I use the same imei for the 2 cpu but it works because I used 2 simcards from 2 differents operator but could not test 2 simcard from same operator because csutomer hapilly took back his phone quickly. I don't know if it will work in case I use 2 simcard from same operator??? but u can simply put different imei in the 2nd cpu to solve this:D).
now I think it is more clear. the new direction of our job now must be how to get the second cpu pinout for all other phone knowing that all our cables are only built for the first cpu access.

regarding duble IMEI in same netowk- this can be different in different countrys.
some countrys (like russia) do not check for double imei, some- check.
you can get to know only by testing in own network

We have no flash files for 2nd CPU in support area yet for many models, only B889 model has flash files for both CPU.
Firmware for 1st and 2nd CPU has difference due to in most cases first CPU is 6226 (6227) and 2nd CPU is 6205.
So, backup files from 2nd CPU always welcome: InfinityBoxSupport@gmail.com

u where right mate but this tutorial is usefull only in case the second simcard does not work or only displays "urgence only". in that case u will need to use rxb/txb to repair that problem. thanks

can u format a phone when its working?, beside cpu has nothing to do with formatting.

when u format a phone u erase (or set to default) some values on flash chip, mostly in eeprom area, but why is the IMEI changed?

it depend on the service provider to block cloned IMEIs or not, some of them just do not watch duplicated IMEIs on the network, finally i undersdtod, that there is 2 IMEIs stored in flash chip, each one represents one SIM card
but i still think that there is only 1 FFS area in the phone.
correct me if i am wrong, but some thing are just not clear for me.

after lot of work in 6300 nokia china i found solution to format it and write IMEI ..... 1- format phone with rx tx gnd with slow speed after that you cant write imei with tx rx cable then desolder rx tx gnd and your usb cable like motorola v3 power on the phone put usb cable and install it after all ok now you can write imei and the 6300 will be 10000/10000 well tested by me today...............................good luck to all............................keep working

Dear friends. in most cases neither do u need to format first cpu (if phone not restarting) nor rebuild 2nd cpu imei. all u have to do in case of 2nd network in "emergency" is to simply format the 2nd cpu. now if the phone says insert simcard (not emergency) for 2nd sim do this:
put a simcard with activated code pin and see. if phone did not ask for code pin then either 2nd cpu is dead or disconnected (in this case try to rehot or rebal the 2nd cpu only) or just repair insert sim problem like in nokia 1110; 1600 etc cases. thanks

i would advice to open phone and resolder flash IC if you have skills.
if you dont have - just heat it and repeat procedure

@aashir i just got same problem 1hr go.. what i do is keep pressed power on even software tell you release power on button at phone.. its need at all option keep it pressed untill you finish with software.

no sir we can formatt the second cpu with mr.cbz_4383 method even then sands303i will show the tower of the second sim we can call from that sim but then we can't cut the call . then u have to switch off the mobile and for incoming we cant attend the call or it will say not reachable......... so personally when i am accepting the phone for restart complaint i will inform the costomer prior that he can only use one sim.......... horrible! but sadly it goes that way only

can you get same working phone and read out full Second CPU flash.
you can use it for flashing- then will be no need to format it
this also could be solution to repair already damaged phones
