the reason for not putting par2.bin file with every distribution is that its size is so large ??? and what is in that file ?

It's a table of already made calculations that will speed up the process of figuring out the KI. It's specific to the A38 algorithm.
All the calculations stored in that file take approx. 1 hour to do on a PIII700 so, as the program needs that table calculated it's better to calculate it once and store it on a file rather than re-calculating it each time the program runs...
If you see any program that "cracks" a cypher algorithm they all build tables... some smaller, some larger...
