Place all the rar files in a folder on your desktop. UnRAR them with WinRAR. As they are all in the same folder WinRAR will find them all and unRAR them to a single folder, probably called USA_and_Canada 725.1905
Place that folder into root of your tomtom ( not inside any other folder)
Use the keygen on post #2 to patch the map. Your Navcore needs to be patched to use stolen maps. If your Navcore is 7.162 or less the keygen will patch it. If it is newer than that the keygen won't and you will need an already cracked Navcore. Look in this and v8 thread.

All this info has already been written in here and the v8 thread numerous times. ( and probably will be again...and again....and.... etc.) ;)

Hi,
I finaly have got my second hand GO710.
It has navcore 7903 9183 on it and has some old Western Europe 660.1219 map.
I have downloaded Western and Central Europe 2GB versions 715.1981 and 815.2034 .
What is the best way to proceed and what map wil fit best with the navcore?
I have worked me through all the posts here but wow....... there are so many.
I understand that I need a patched navcore as 790x will not be able to be patched with easyuse tool.
Does any one has a patched 7903 9183 navcore?

as a newby I started to read everything here about the Go710, pffff a lot:eek:
I found the new navcore 8.010 here on the forum and installed this on the Go 2GB card together with a map Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_815_2034.

Well the Go seems to work, TomTomhome gots confused says there is a ilegal version on the device.:D

The problem is that my map won't function.
Red screen with "you cannot use this map on this device".
Did the patch with the runformeallautomatic.
No succes as it looks for now.

So I am going to try it with an other 8 map.:confused:

Might be because your using Vista 64 bit (i tested on vista home premium and ultimate 32 bit)

I have tried that as well and the program then starts.
But when I connect the GO710 and select the right drive + pushes OK I get a new runtime error. This time runtime error 335. It misses comctl32.ocx.

So I treid to do it in and different way and downloaded the TOMTOM_service_suite. But there I also get error's. Not a good mariage Vista and the TOMTOM Tools........

Well now I am stucked with a TOMTOM GO710 with a 2GB card were 8.010 runs and I cannot get the Maps reconized with the easytools.
It had worked with the old 7901 firmware until TOMTOMHome installed the new 7903 firmware:mad:
Luckely I still have a backup with the old Western Europe 660.1219 and 7903. This is still functioning well.

Need lil help here, I download and installed tom tom 7.910.9185 vga black cab.

usa canada maps v 725_1905 map pack successfully, created new meta.dct file
placed new files in map pack and transfered to root of my memory card but, tom tom still says no maps found any ideas?

you need to patch your maps with your device number from the bif file (use the keygen found on page 1)

you can use tomtom v7 for windows mobile

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking about for an update for ages and wasn't getting far. Now I know to look elsewhere.

I have already moved on to the Garmin MobileXT system but I am finding that it is killing the battery where it never did in the past with tomtom. Does anyone know if there is a setting that can be changed to overcome this?

Hi, I'd like to thank all the posters to this forum, which has given me a successful night following 2 weeks hard struggle using other sites!
I've managed to upgrade me TT1 3rd Edition from Western Europe 7.05 to 7.20, and now have 7.25 downloading. With a bit of luck, having sorted out how to do it once, I'll be fine the 2nd time around!

I've noticed that I had to fully delete the contents of my Western Europe folder and then start fresh with the new map before the device would take the new map. Definately the old file "Map Settings" was stopping things working for me.

But this means that I lost all my favourites, home location, and POIs - including cameras. Can anyone advise me which I can safely resotre and how? If I just copy back all the POI files, and their DCT and VER files into the new map folder would that be enough? Or do I need to activate then somehow? What about warnings as I get near cameras?

Perhaps someone can advise me. Even if you can't - thanks to all posters for the help given in this forum.

I've followed this and other threads and have TT7 Nav working on my kaiser, with a national map I got here. TomTom gave me a free local map, and gave my wife a free map of the next town over. Is there a way I can patch these maps so that they both work on each of our kaisers? The standard method gives me errors that the map data isn't included in the meta.txt file, which of course it isn't. How can I get the meta code for the Houston, TX map so the keygen will work?

try doing a search for a "b l o w f i s h" key for your maps

i.e. use the search button and type in "Houston Meta Key"
or try downloading the new keygen found on page one of the tomtom v8 thread ;)

now i have installed this on my phone, and downloaded the one free map, for manchester, if that helps, now obviously i would like the maps to dowload for england or western europe, not fussy, but i cannot find a link that works :(, i would prefer a rapidshare link if possible, also i have read about how you need to crack the maps to work and you need the free map off tomtom to do this, and thats where i am confused, i have downloaded that Easyusetools_adapted_for7900x, but i'd rather ask for help and what i need to do before i bugger things up, so can anyone help me and explain what i actually need to do, and if you can give me the links for the maps,

Two things....

The map links don't usually last long due I presume to the whole 'legality' of them. Your best bet is to keep trying and look out for new posts on here or try the other website that has a similar forum (I am not sure if I am allowed to post the link so PM me for it?).

The other thing is the keygen to use. Although the version of Navigator is 7.910(9185) it now requires the tt8_keygen to be used to generate the .dct files (the same as for 7.9x for TomTom PNA's).

I am fortunate enough to have downloaded the UK & Ireland 8.15.2024 and Western Europe 8.15.2034 maps, both of which work with your version of Navigator (I have a HTC Kaiser).

When I copied the "ttsystem" file in the "ttsystem_Patcher" folder and ran the "RunMe.bat" then it wrote: acces denied. After it created a "ttsystem_old" file, and nothing else happens. I dont think, that it is OK!

What should I do with it? Should I copy the map files in this folder, an run the tt8_keygen.exe or whaT????

A would like to use the newest "Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_815_2034" map on my TomTom ONE XL device. I have the newest firmware installed on it. A ran the "TomTom KeyGen v2.4 (v6-7-8).part1.rar". I don't know whether I used it properly or not?
How should I use this crack program properly?


When I copied the "ttsystem" file in the "ttsystem_Patcher" folder and ran the "RunMe.bat" then it wrote: acces denied. After it created a "ttsystem_old" file, and nothing else happens. I dont think, that it is OK!

and do a search for them there instead :D

as for the insatallation instructions here is a quick guide

1, install tomtom firmware to your device,
2, copy the selected maps to your device
3, extract the keygen (found on page 1) to a folder
4, insert your device id into the file called "DeviceID.txt"
5, run the file "RunMeforDCT.cmd" and select option search tomtom device
6, run the file "RunMeforMetaKey.cmd" and select option search tomtom device
7, patch the ttsystem via the keygen under any of the cmd files and selecting the option "Patch TTsystem" (if using V7 firmware)

hey guys, i have been reading these pages for over 2 hours now, and i am no nearer figuring anything out, i like to think i am smart when it comes to my HTC phone and installing stuff etc, anyway, i have installed the 'scene' release of the tom tom software, which goes by the name of "TomTom Navigator v7.910.9185 Multilanguage PPC WM5 WM6-GiZPDA"
now i have installed this on my phone, and downloaded the one free map, for manchester, if that helps, now obviously i would like the maps to dowload for england or western europe, not fussy, but i cannot find a link that works :(, i would prefer a rapidshare link if possible, also i have read about how you need to crack the maps to work and you need the free map off tomtom to do this, and thats where i am confused, i have downloaded that Easyusetools_adapted_for7900x, but i'd rather ask for help and what i need to do before i bugger things up, so can anyone help me and explain what i actually need to do, and if you can give me the links for the maps,
i would be very greatful

you can find a download if you use that and put rapidshare on the end on google

i then copied one of the cab files onto my HTC Touch pro, and installed this

i then ran tomtom, and downloaded the free map that you get

i then used the easy tools to crack this map, the file name is
Easyusetools_adapted_for7900x_6thNov2008

however you are going to have to search this your self, there is a working link a few pages back, thats where i got it from

now open up your storage card from your fone on your pc
find the file called

ttnavigator.bif

and open this in notepad

copy the device ID number
and then open up the easyusetools folder and copy this ID into the deviceID.txt file and save

now copy the file that ends in*.meta from the map folder that you downloaded into the folder called

insert_meta_from_Map_here

then run the cmd program that is named

RunMeforDCT.cmd

type in option 1, and option 1 again,

and this will create a *.DCT file in the folder that you placed your meta file into

copy this *.DCT file over into the location of the map on your phone

and run tomtom again, change the map over to the new map you have downloaded and this should work

if you come across any problems, list exactly what you have done and email jesus@tomtom.com, no i'm kidding, just pm, with each step

and i will try to help out the best i can

unfortunatly, i dont have a tomtom device, the guide above was to install on a PDA phone such as the HTC Touch,

my best advice i can offer is for you to start at page one and keep reading,

everything you require is here, you just need to spend time looking

i'm sorry i cannot help you futher, maybe if you leave a post asking for some help of someone else who has the same tomtom device as you, they will be able to point you in the right direction

you can use the easyusetools stuff to crack your copy of tt, however this has to be done by command line, my was already done for me from the version i downloaded, i forgot to mention that in my guide, however i do know that you can downlaod the files already altered off this forum, you will need to look back at the pages though to find the post, but i did actually download it, however realising i didnt need it, i deleted the file

All, finally got TT7.910 and my maps working, but I've got a couple of issues. Wasn't getting the voices or art recognized, so I started moving directories around. I got the art working, but still have other issues. Biggest one is that TT is no longer seeing most of the voices (couple standard ones work).

What are the names of the standard voices you have installed. because you might have to copy your voices onto your internal device under the folder program files\tomtom navigator

give it a try do a search on your internal storage device and look for data*.chk ;)

you'll see that your voices are installed to the internal memory :mad:

you can find a download if you use that and put rapidshare on the end on google

i then copied one of the cab files onto my HTC Touch pro, and installed this

i then ran tomtom, and downloaded the free map that you get

i then downloaded the western and central europe maps

i then used the easy tools to crack this map, the file name is
Easyusetools_adapted_for7900x_6thNov2008

however you are going to have to search this your self, there is a working link a few pages back, thats where i got it from

you can do this with any maps you download, i just used the western maps as my example as that what i personally downloaded. search on google for your uk maps, and then post the links on here for us all. And this should work on any WM operating system, however you will either need a internal gps or purchase a standalone unit for your phone if its not built in.

ok, open up your meta.txt file in notepad and make sure it includes your map, if not, add the meta data into that file and save, you should have this meta data with your downloaded maps

I think that you haven't read my guide properly

i then ran tomtom, and downloaded the free map that you get
you need to do this first

install tomtom, and then go through the set up, so it created a legal deviceID as explained, once you have downloaded the free map, and got your tomtom software up and running, then continue to start adding your own maps and cracking them,

and once you have gone through the set up on your phone and your looking at the map, you will then be able to get onto your preferences.

I was just interested if I could get a later tomtom system working on this unit.

Anyway for $35.00 I could not go wrong.

All I did was to put the card in and it asked if I wanted to install.
That was it.
It started with no problems and the maps I put in was downloaded for free so
I recon it was a steal.

I have a GO910 working OK with v8 maps. Also Home 2.3 is working and mapshare works.

Now I've bought a Rider 2nd edition and when I start Home it doesn't manage the rider. Instead it tells me to download Home 2.5.2. My question are:

1- Will the Home ddl for my GO910 navcore work with Home 2.5.2?

2- How can I get the latest navcore for the Rider? Doest it work with v8 maps?

Has any body used a piece of equipment called " EVOSCAN/GPS/MP3/OBDII"? This seems to be a vehicle CAN BUS monitor that provides a display of the vehicle performance as well as being a GPS ( It uses V7 maps apparently.) It seems way more useful than a TT as you can use it when you are out drifting..... and who needs a GPS for that. Its sold by limitless.co.nz. I have ordered one to see what it does.

Carried out a drag and drop complete backup from my Go700 to my hard drive on the computer.
Downloaded and copied to a temp folder on my computer the following files:-

Did a bit of GOOGLE'ing to see if there was a new TTSYSTEM knocking around

Found files named:-

This one has a TTSYTEM date of 15 Jan 2009

With a totally fresh install the latter seems to make the device work including lane guidance and IQ routing. the only minor issue i can see is that you cannot delete favourites any more. But i can live with that

I need to do more extensive testing but first signs are promising

Hi there, I've recently bought a samsung omnia. I installed tomtom 7.450.9028 successfully and was able to set language, etc..
There are a couple of issues that I haven't managed to resolve -
1. When I launch it, it comes up with No Maps Found! and I cannot connect to tomtom to download sample map
2. I have tomtom maps for Western Europe ver 815.2086. I've ran the keygen successfully which gave me the dct file.
- I copied the europe map folder to Storage Card\program files\Navigator and ran tomtom - no maps found!
- I copied the europe map folder to storage card\ and ran tomtom - no maps found!
- i copied the europe map folder to storage card\my documents and ran tomtom - no maps found!

Am I missing something? please help! thanks in advance.:(

I also have TT7 with v7 maps. Get the same message "cannot find maps". Have TT navigator in the Program File folder on the device (Touch Pro) and maps in the root of the storage card.

Downloaded three patches and three keygens from post #1.

I also have a keygen and patch folder that came with the maps. Again, how do I put it all together?

Ok, I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but I found out that TT7.45 does not agree with TT Maps ver8+. even after the dct files were generated. With the maps I had to put them in SD Card\My Documents. I've found that TT7.910.9185 did not recognised the ver7 maps, even if the maps were located in My Documents or in the SD Card\Navigator folder. I've also found that the tomtom takes quite a bit of time to associate to the satellites, even running with GSPgate version 2.6.

I've also managed to get a copy of Garmin for windows mobile and it seems to be much faster identifying and associating with the satellites. I've read in other forums that IGO is the GPS app to have for windows mobile. Hope this helps.

update your firmware to the latest via tomtom home.
download the tomtom map patcher,
patch the ttsystem,
copy the new maps on your device,
now patch the dct and meta files for your selected maps

Have you read the thread? It might have been an idea before posting......

For Navcore 7.9x on either PNA or Windows Mobile you must use the TT8 keygen NOT the TT7 keygen that you used for 7.4x.

Please search before posting as this just clutters up this thread with information that has been posted many times before.

First "Drive Not Found?, changing path to default" when I OK theat I get,
"Run time error 5, Invalid procedure call or argument"

Do I need to run it from a particular folder?

I have Western_and_Central_Europe_v715_1703 it is 1.89gb.
If this is of any use I will try to upload and post when I've done it.
But you will have a problem ******* it on a 2gb card.
I am using navcore 8.070.9589.gox20, bootloader 5.5022 W&C Europe Truck v815.2112 on a 4gb sandisc sdhc v2 card on a ttgo300, It also works sucessfully on ttone v2 and ttXL.
I did have a problem with my first non sdhc "transcend" 4gb card hanging on the boot screen so updated the bootloader (system file) and used the sandisc sdhc card and everything was sweet.

It is going to take a while to upload the files required but will post link asap.

In the mean time if you have not used a .dlc file you might want to download
jdownloader or CryptLoad. This way you will be able to download a 17 .rar files
with just a couple of clicks rather than following a link for each .rar file

You got me slavering for Map Patcher 2a BuMobiles but when I run the executable I get two errors.
First "Drive Not Found?, changing path to default" when I OK theat I get,
"Run time error 5, Invalid procedure call or argument"

Do I need to run it from a particular folder?

Are you using windows vista ?
cos they was a few bugs found when using certain versions of vista, please post what system etc

Also make sure these 3 sub folders are inside the folder where the tt map patcher is ?

i have a few v8 maps here and a v6 also some more on a hdd at home i can post up if needed.
tried navcore 8 on my tomtom one v2 but it just hang on the boot screen so i'm gona try some v7 maps instead.

I have just spent the last 7 hours uploading this map only for it to dissapear into thin air!!!!!

I have seen no sign of Backup or BackupConfig. Did I get a faulty download I wonder?
I've tried making empty folders with those names but still get the same errors, presumably there should be something in them?

I doubt that the attempt above to insert an image will work. If not, in "TomTom Map Patcher 2_Free Edition for GSM Hosting.rar - RAR archive, unpacked size 7,953,904 bytes" I have 14 files and one folder "patcher"
Patcher contains the files I am used to seeing when doing the job manually.

The easy way to resolve this problem is;

1, extract all files to the folder called c:\TomTomMapPatcher
2, now open the folder "c:\TomTomMapPatcher"
3, right mouse click and select new folder
4, call it BackUp
5, do the same again and create a folder called BackUpConfig
6, now you can run it and it will be fine ;)

It is going to take a while to upload the files required but will post link asap.

In the mean time if you have not used a .dlc file you might want to download
jdownloader or CryptLoad. This way you will be able to download a 17 .rar files
with just a couple of clicks rather than following a link for each .rar file

There is no code you have to patch the maps and the ttsystem file for it to work.

I suggest reading from about 20 pages back on this thread as there will be some answers tro help you in there.

i removed almost all the voices from this navcore because it is a backup of mine and the voices pushed it over 60 meg and i'm uploading this on my laptop with a web n walk modem.

Hi, The link i gave you of the map is a older map to the one you want, try searching on the this thread for that version map and you may be lucky, also try google if you have no luck.

I have recently moved to Australia and I brought my tomtom one over with me that came with a SD card with the UK maps on it. I have now bought a tomtom one in Australia which has the OZ maps pre-installed on its internal memory. I have copied the OZ maps from my new OZ tomtom and put them on a SD card and popped it in my old UK tomtom but it just tells me that these maps cannot be used in this console. Is there something I can do to get around this?

Any advise in LAYMANS TERMS would be great
