What is Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor ?

Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor is a software that can edit content of firmware for "Chinese" phones based on MT6205-MT6228 CPU.


What is general functions of Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor ?


Standalone software: it's no need to use Internet connection
Supported file formats: Infinity-Box "Chinese Miracle" and "Flash Tool" (plain binary).
Automatic language detection inside firmware.
Possible to edit any language inside firmware and see original and edited text at the same time.
There is no any limits for menu message size (possible to make menu message longer or shorter than original).
Automatic menu translation via dictionary.
Possible to create own dictionary from existing firmware and possible to use own dictionaries for future work.
Output file format: Infinity-Box "Chinese Miracle". As a result you have a very safe and very fast way to install new language: if you use "Smart write" Infinity-Box function during flashing software write only difference of original and edited firmware but not complete firmware.
Software package include several dictionaries for different languages so it's possible to make fast and correct language editing from the first day.
Attention: it's need to use Infinity-Box "Chinese Miracle" software version 1.38 and above !


When Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor software will be finally released ?

Final software release date depends on test results, we will keep you informed.


Note: currently Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor software is under testing and we are looking for serious and high-qualified testers to finish work and fix possible bugs.

. We need limited number of testers for each country so we can decline requests to be a tester even from very active person if we have enough testers already for specified country/language !
. We will check previous activity of each person who will request to be the tester and we can decline request without any explanation.
. We will supply free copy of latest Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor editor to testers that will be selected by Infinity-Box team members.
. We supply free copy to testers not for fun but for work and for feedback, so if you don't have phones for tests or don't want to give to us reports about software functionality and possible bugs - please, don't ask us to give you this software for test.
. If tester will disappear after he will get free copy of Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor software we are free to completely deactivate dongle that was activated for work with Infinity-Box Language Pack Editor.

We will be in touch with ALL (I repeat, ALL, not depends, is it our old friends or new people) testers who have got LanguagePack Editor activation from us, and if testers will be silent and did not provide test results, dictionaries etc. we will deactivate their dongles.
We don't like "smart" people who want to lie to us that they ready to help but instead of help to everyone they want to help only to themself.

Thank you for your explanation, but I think if you have made this explanation you have not big experience with 'Chinese" phones and you understand not so good what you talk about.
Probably requested by you features may be interesting for people who has a lot of free time and who has 1 or 2 phones to play per month, but it's not for people who make serious phone repair business and has many phones to repair every day.

There is no separate special LangPack agera in flash, but you can flash phones very fast with Infinity-Box after language modification.

I can tell you right now, even w/o checking your mail that your request to be tester already declined.
reasons:
1. You don't know how to read text (f.e. this text: http://www.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=2927110&postcount=64 ) and this means that you can't write too and you are unable to give any test report.

i will ask andra soon make report...
cause as i see when we are in gathering in 8-9 December in yogya..
many indonesian people was very pleased to use this language editor..
Andra demonstrate how to use the lang editor..
and as i know and as we test (in this case andra demo infront my self n other indonesian people) and all look so smooth...
but dont know.. cause in gathering we don;t have so much time..

just hope we can use the s.w too.. so many people use the s.w will be many people find the bug of the s.w (this just my opinion)

we will check it, but I think that bug is in first log, because "Chinese Miracle" software don't make very deep extraction of language information but LangEditor make more detailed firmware detection to find available languages.

French (Fr) LP was replaced in this file for Spanish (Es) LP. Some "not so important" lines could not be translated since i don´t speak Spanish and disctionary file does not have this lines, but i think that majority of common used phrases are translated for your language.

@Infinity: "C88-Spain.dict" could translate only 1750/3175 lines of requested FF. Then, i´ve downloaded some FF from support (FF with Es LP inside), extracted .dict file of everyone and combine all to create a "big" .dict Spanish file. So, with this combined new file, in same FF i could translate 2029/3175 lines. HERE (http://rapidshare.com/files/81294460/Spanish_04012008.rar.html) is the new Spanish .dict file. When i attach new dict file to current used .dict file, the lines are summed. But, program must be "compares" lines and use only "new" lines, no? Because "summing" lines the new .dict file goes very big.

in case, we have one phone already contain language we need, we make backup from this phone,

sorry for my mistaken, infinity software was have what i say before,
bout make dictionary from original fraze language,

just need some improvement to remove bugs,
in some firmware we still got chinese language and square box, even we just edit their to our language..

i have found this when editing CECT A2000 phone..
later i'll send u all information bout this phone,
also it's original backup..

until now, Infinity still Rocks....

Please, use another firmware for editing. it looks like that you have selected for editing very strange firmware (probably edited befopre with other tools). This firmware don't have English language so it's not possible to make any correct language editing for this firmware.

so if you power on without simcard main menu lang is change.

Select language, press "Change language pack to other" button, load dictionary with your language, press Apply button, then Save fullflash - after this step Editor say "Please enter name of new language" and you can write our own language name and code for activate this language from keyboard.

You can't delete language pack's in firmware - after this you have many bug's and this option disabled in Editor.

Now I can see the two installed laguages - english and chinese ...

How can I add now additional languages like german/french/italian ...?

keyboard on tuch screen . and it write english language .

*.ask file must be located in \InfinityBox\LanguagePackEdit folder.
this file must be processed by our team and program will start functioning after you put *.rpl file to same folder
