The only way to unlock is through BACKDOOR, which will now be displayed on screen at start up, when BACKDOOR is displayed get your box that the PHONE came in, "not the box which the base came in" and look at the number on the side of the PHONE box and type it in its a 12 figure number when you typed it in press YES and its unlocked.
