1) Resolved the problem that have the last Nokia models
These models, when a change of provider is solicited using Sel # or making a Reset, forbid the previously registered network.
When trying to return to this network and to find it prohibited, is when they take too much in returning to connect and when they do it, after making a call lose the cover momentarily.
The solution was to cancel the prohibitions in each new connection.
2) Permanent information in the display of the actual number selected. (Now more compatible with phones)
The associated description of the actual number is transferred to the optional SPN file (Service Provider Name) that now is used by the SIM-EMU.
As most of mobiles show in the display the contents of this file if it is present, it is possible to show permanently the actual number selected, along with the registered network. (Thanks Alf! ;))
Recommendation:
Assign the description "n:Nr.Phone" to see the position and the number, for example, to position 3, assign 3:651974486.
Because I have no more memory space, it is not possible any more, to display the position configuring in the phone a currency equal to POS.
NOTICE
This version requires that the SIM_EMU_EP_4.10.hex file is recorded since it is incompatible with the external EEPROM of previous versions.
For this reason it is necessary, to conserve the data of the phonebook and SMS's, to do saves of these data in the PC with scripts that I offer.
After the programming and established the wished number of SMS's, to recover the saved data also with scripts.

Please include the possibility to change the name lenght in the address book from 14 to 18 characters!
I had to modify the code (with your patch) in 4.01 and I think many people would like that feature.
My best configuration is: 219 * 18 + 20.... much better than 250 * 14 + 20.
Is the source avaliable?

What you put in the text assigned to the numbers (12 max), is what I move to the SPN file.
For example, Nokia 8210 only shows 10, but the newest shows all the 12.
The maximun for the SPN is 16, but I don't know which model display it completely.
The version for GreenCard is very green. But, perhaps I'll release a preliminar version before.

and what about 125 * (18 + 50)
- 18 char for name
- 50 for number
if you want to use calling card, you need dial access number,
then send your card number and then subsrciber number.
The whole sequence is much longer than 20,
for example
0800123456p1234123412341234p07943654324
To use a number longer than 20, it is neccesary to include in the SIM-EMU a new file called EXT1 (6F4A) where the phone stores this additional digits.
Again, the GreenCard version could support this feature.

In my configurator I number all Bytes from 0 to Length of File
is it the same adresses in New version as in 4.01 ?

Again, some offsets in the external EEPROM had changed.
Tell me which data do you modify and I say you if had changed their offsets.

As I said, I don't include this feature by default.
Are you sure that this has no problem in ALL the phones ?
If you want it, activate it before write your SIM.
Also in this version, in the position 02B9, where says 0000, you must put 0081.

hi have some try SE401 config and new simemu 4.11 i cannot program my silvercard....it comes with a error then it verify the pic hex but i can use the old version of simemu 4.01 and SE401config some help ?

To modify the english version of SIM-EMU 4.01 to obtain 20 SMS's and 219 ADN with 18 characters each, you must edit the original SIM_EMU_FL_4.01_ENG.hex with the following changes:

Permanent information in the display of the actual number selected don´t works with nokia 6330 and in nokia 3210 apear and disapear imediatly.
Ericsson T28: when i try reset it block.
Nokia 3210: if you press "c" you can see actual position number :-)
Works fine on my 6310 and 6210 as long as the logo doesn't take up too much room.
And Eurocrypts configurator works fine on this new version also.

@Eurocrypt. No need to update your prog. Still works fine with this version and makes the process so much easier.
The permanent card display, however, does not work on my two main phones N9210 and N8850. Just shows up for a second, then disappears. Works perfectly on a basic N6210.

from inside the proggie, what You put in is what
You see in Your Display as Provider Info.

By the way, I have an idea, listen carefully:
An ADN entry is made of ASCII characters (let's assume values from in range 0-127). With a simple routine you can 'compress' 7 bit characters in 8 bit bytes ... I mean.. in this way 8 characters will take 7 bytes in RAM.
With this simple algo you could obtain 250 ADN of 18 chars EACH!
(With just the same old silver card).
But there is more !!!
Limiting character set to "0-9" and "a-z" "A-Z" you will have 62 total possible characters. This way you will have only 6 bit of relevant data per character.. so 8 characters will eat just 6 bytes of ram.
In this way you can have 292 ADN of 18 chars each.
Think about this and expecially the 7 bit version because it can save space even if you will use a bigger card.

That method is the used for compressing SMS, but in the SilverCard, there is no more memory available to include any new features. Sorry.
Maybe for SMS.. but you are not using it for ADN Entries !
Use it also for ADN Entries! So at least a silvercard can be used FULLY !

Is it very difficult (or very laborious) to transfer the code from the version 4.10 to a green -card?
I think, only for the time being, to move the full files of ADN and SMS toward the external eeprom memory...
You can transfer your SIM-EMU to the GreenCard without any problem.
Only you have to read your actual files from the Silver and write them on the Green.

I use 4.10 and Mitsubishi Trium@Geo.
Provider name change only by reset or off/on.
When i use Sel.Phone # Provider name not change.
Is Phone or Sim-emu problem?

That is a phone problem. The phone must read all the files changed when the SIM instructs to do it, but some models does not do it. Sorry.

... because when you use reset you force your phone to perform a reset and so it reads the entry from the sim card.
This is a phone problem and can't be fixed with changing the software of simemu. Buy a new phone :)

I have a question:
I use simemu4.01 for this:
I have a phone (sony) and I have another phone (a blaupkunt car radio).
I use simemu in car phone.
Afther I have used the blaupkunt phone I power on my phone (sony) with original sim.
This remain "not connected" for provider (tim) until I make a call with the phone.
Why?
