why is it that in our support site.. the new installers are not updated... WHILE OTHERS HAS IT ALREADY??



is it because we didnt buy the box directly from the SO CALLED RESELLER??? is that it???


because when the 1.15 was out... it wasnt available yet in support site.. but SOMEONE said JUST CONTACT ME TRU THIS AND THAT... and the next day they have it already.... BUT STILL in support site there is none...


NOW in the SUPPORT SECTION there is something written 1.16 and 1.17 updates already... but THERES NOTHING DOWNLOADABLE IN SUPPORT SITE...


NOW WHY IS IT THAT OTHERS HAS IT ALREADY while WE DONT???? MAYBE THERE IS A VALID EXPLANATION FOR THAT??


please dont answer they are beta testers....


isnt it UNFAIR to those WHO BOUGHT INDIRECTLY to NON-AUTHORIZED SUPPLIERS...??? COZ WE AS END USERS HAS THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHEREVER WE WANT TO BUY... WHEREVER IS CHEAPER!!!!



could that be the same reason WHY OTHERS BOXES ARE NOT YET APPORVED WITH THE SUPPORT SITE???



i have no personal hatred or any grievances with this team... I JUST WANT TO HAVE AN EXPLANATION...


coz this is not THE FIRST BOX I OWNED... AND NEVER DID I SEE in other SUPPORT SITES that somebody can have the LATEST UPDATES WHILE OTHERS GET IT LAST.... when they say updates for free it means ALL BOX OWNERS CAN DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE!!!!

NO MATTER OR WHEREVER THEY BOUGHT THEIR BOXES when UPDATES ARE RELEASED everybody can DOWNLOAD AND USE IT.... NOT LIKE HERE!!! ONLY CHOOSEN FEW ARE GIVEN... which is very unfair...



i love your box.. and no doubt im gonna use it always... just want some answers...

The reason for this is because the webmaster, does not have
Internet Connection as of this moment and only the webmaster
has the ability to upload new installers and user manuals in the
support section.

FrozenIce will be online after 2-3 hours and we expect that the Updated
Installer and the User Manuals should be uploaded by then.

Regarding why people have 1.17 and others dont have... I personally don't
have 1.17 with me. This exe was just finished less than 24-hours ago and
all I got was a screenshot of it so I could put it in the User's Manual.

Other people might have it because they are constantly chatting with the
Software Developer... and maybe they recieved it through ICQ, Sonork or
Yahoo Messenger. But there is really no way for us to upload it in the
support section as of this moment because the FTP can only be accessed
by the Webmaster.

Please wait for 2-3 hours till we can sort things up. As you can see, the
User's Manual is still under a Temporarily Upload Rapidshare Link ;-(((

After tonight, we will have complete control over the FTP access of our
site. But as of this moment, a complete turn over of control for the site
has not been executed.

We do not discriminate user's of our product. The only reason why we
ask the Reseller's Name is for Statistical Purposes and we would like to
see which of our two products is selling well in the market.

I understand your concern and I hope my explanation will suffice for
the time being.

Hi, As for people saying contact me via, they are supporters not just a beta tester and they are part of the team.

Team = Product supporters + Beta Testers.

Why Beta because they test before release full version so you won t have any bugs in your full release.

Hi again,

I will meet with my people in a few minutes so we can sort out our
problems with the Support Section once and for all.

I dont have 1.17 exe with me, but I am sure the Software Developer
has it with him. We can upload it in Rapidshare as well because the
Webmaster will still take 2-3 hours ;-(

KP/FBUS – Manually selects KeyPress PSW instead of the default FBUS PSW. KeyPress PSW
is still sent through FBUS Frames so you don't need to manually enter the codes in the
phone's keypad.

AD0, AD1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ... You can manually select which TP you want to use,, like for
6280, you can use either AD1, AD0 or AD8... it depends on which ADX you want to
connect to...

N73 6,038... please click Read Phone and paste the read out here.
Currently we support top 6 N73 firmwares only, but we can easily
add very old versions like what one user requested earlier this morning.

KP/FBUS - it means Keypress FBUS,,, it can use 0/3 code counter instead of 0/10
code counter


*** For all users.. please do no touch the TP pins with your bare fingers during
unlocking or during Learning Mode ***

For version 1.17, you need to manually select AD8 if you want to unlock N73...

We are making a new version as we speak... this time it will have an auto-login
to the support site as well as other new features.

Also,, we found a new way to make Learning Mode work yet even faster... so it
should be possible to unlock in Learning Mode for less than 10 seconds!!!

Hi,

There are two possible problems:

1. TP Connection...

The BLACK TP is the CLOCK which should connected to the BOTTOM BGA ROW (small BGA BALLS)
The YELLOW TP is AD8 which should be connected to the TOP BGA ROW (big BGA BALLS)

Also, avoid touching the metallic PINS of the TP...
And avoid using other TP Cables from other BB5 Unlocking Boxes...


2. Possible that the user code is active...

So you need to make Restore Factory Settings.
However, all contacts will be erased and User code will be reset to 12345


We also have N73 here, we can flash it with the same version as yours
and show you our unlocking LOGS.

The flash chip of our N73 here is SAMSUNG K5E1G12ACM-DF75.
I believe all N73 use the same Flash chip.

and before i will connect TP's , the software shows testpoint connected
and it going to try unlock ,
is this a bug or what,
and if possible that software creaters can add sound like mtpro or jaf :)

security code is different and network lock is different
how can any software unlocked a phone thats is not locked?

i say this from urs logs because urs logs say that unlock procedure is done just check the red marked fields

Some BB5 Phones cannot be unlocked when the Security Code is active.
So you need to remove Security Code or Reset Factory Settings before
you attempt to unlock the phone.

It is the same with any other software for BB5 Unlocking. All cannot unlock
if Security Code is active.

same here... i have experienced this kind of problem also....


even you havent connected your TP yet.. the software shows TP CONNECTED and will RUN.....


i think this is a BUG.. kindly check this also..

Hi,

The solution is just close the exe and reconnect the USB cable.
We only see this hardware "bug" in AdvanceBB5... so I think it has
something to do with the FTDI chip failing to send the reset
command to the CPLD.

Another possible reason is that the TP ADX was accidentally connected
to a 3.3v line in the Phone's PCB while trying to connect the TP to the
proper places. Because ADX is designed for 1.8v only, it is possible that
the 3.3v caused a voltage spike which lead to a glitch in the logics
inside the CPLD. So actually, the CPLD is already "hang" and the FTDI
cannot reset it in the software level.

So you really need to disconnect and reconnect USB when this happens.

P.S. even if the CPLD is "hang", you can still read the phone... but the BLUE TP light
remains ON and never turns OFF.

No is not possible , with my other bb5 hardware box
i have unlocked many bb5 phones for my customers with securitycode active,
i know because after unlock i test always and some phones was asking securitycode,

Try 5200, 6300, or 5300... Turn on security code then try to connect using
FBUS in Test or Local Mode...

Other people in other support section also have this problem.. not only our box.

On other BB5 Phones,, you can unlock even if security code is active using our
box. This is just FBUS issue and not really TP unlocking issue.
