AdvanceBB5 Stand Alone box needs to be connected directly yo USB Port of
PC if you want to give enough power to N95 phone which requires 400mA in
Local/Test Mode because of LCD backlight. USB Hubs cannot give enough mA
because according to USB standards, all BUS Powered Hubs should only give
100mA per USB port. If you have a USB Hub with external power adapter, then
that USB Hub could give 500mA per Port but it would still depend on the
Technical Specifications of the USB Hub device if the the manufacturer allowed
500mA or not.

If you really cannot connect your AdvanceBB5 to the USB Root Port of your PC,
then you can still try to unlock N95 but you must remove the LCD and camera
modules. I cannot guarantee proper operation though... But rest assured, it
will not kill the phone ;-)

AdvanceBB5 has no external power input for ACP-X so using external power
is out of the question...

For non N95 phones, connecting the AdvanceBB5 to a USB Hub is not a problem.

AdvanceUFS on the other hand has an external power supply port for ACP-X
chargers. When using AdvanceUFS with N95, it is still best to remove the LCD
and the Camera module even if the ACP-X is connected as we have noticed that
this in fact improves connection/power stability.

For NON-N95 phones, you should avoid using ACP-X because the UFS Box can
already supply enough mA to the phone even without external power. Using the
external ACP-X power supply will sometimes cause a Ground Loop which is not
a very good thing for our unlocking purposes...

Why didn't we put External Power Port for AdvanceBB5???
Because you can easily solve mA problems by connecting it directly to the Root USB
port of your PC and we would like to avoid Ground Loops as much as possible since
we are working with 66Mhz Nor flash with very little room for signal noise.
