i know the last 4 bytes in crc check of PPM , but what is the previous 2 bytes
can anyone explane prefly how this crc done with example if possible

the previous 2. is also the mcu checksum... same as the mcu checksum located at mcu flash 0x22 n 0x23.

the last 4 bytes is the faid checksum... i think some guy named ldril was able to use the hex of dejan and made a c language program that will show how it was being calculated. it starts at 0x40 of the mcu to ppm. it gets the 2 first bytes and step by 0x20. am not so sure but i have the source. if u want i can email it to u.. :D :D :D

Hi,
To be quite honest the source for this was written by Tibor few days after Dejan Hex was released for free.
Maybe you can try to ask him for that, since everyone use parts of
his knok sources to make money now. Other guys gives thanks
to Dejan, since he didnt give any usefull sources for free, all the hard work was made by Tibor again.
But I am sure even after all this - he will be happy to help you,
just mail him.

i need ppm & mcu checksum & msid.. and then?
how is it being calculated? Bph&co as u know it is it possible to tell me how?

i saw him luk'in for ida PRO 4.17. i do have it... problem is, it's around 16MB.
