MCU & PPM flasher 1.4 works without box:
Only short Pin 2 and Pin 15 in Lpt port!!!
And you will see


(1) Read full back up flash by ver 1.0
(2) Use ver 1.4 to make PPM & Mcu from the back up
without any box

Do you mean solder a link wire to pins 2 & 15 on a normal dejan 1.00b flasher? also have you tested that this works?

if this method does work, is there an easy way for me to short those pins without actually damaging the lpt port? i have the flasher similar to the one sold at www.gsmsquare.com (http://www.gsmsquare.com)

This is not new, I tryied a
cracked version 1.4 wich -didnt ask for box and is real you can make PPM & Mcu from the back up file of phone but you still need the box to generate the check.sum and FAID, so the Carlito's way could be right by shorting pin 2 and 15 of lpt will propably bypass the box call, but unusefull%

Hello Guys,

Shorting PINs 2 and 15 from LPT port will
not damage port. But it will give you
different responce from the usual "Bad Box.."
Message you get from running the program
without the Dongle connected. However, this
simple short does not make the software
usefull.

Also, cracked 1.03 does not match the mcu
and ppm files outputed by uncracked 1.03
with Dongle. I compared the output, there
is difference and I dont think that the
mcu and ppm output from the cracked is of
any use at all... :(

The releasing of the Source Code for 1.04
by Dejan himself does not mean that the
program is already free... It only means
that Dejan wants other people to make
Windows Based program port of his Flasher.
If you look at the source, it is clear
that some calculations are made by box...
So even if someone develops a Windows
software out of this source files, it will
surely still need the Dongle...

With 1.03 by Mop perhaps you can make PPM file but it takes a long time and after there isn´t method to upload to the phone because this soft is not 100% cracked, can only read the files and make PPM, for this you don´t need any box connected, just do it without box, but I don´t wait soo long for this, it takes a lot of time and I´m not sure that at the end it will do it.

I know you can create the files without box but I need to upload them to phone and I thought using a normal flasher with 2 & 15 shorted might work.

Just read X-Shadow reply, i agree 100% with his reply, shorting PINs 2&15 you´ll get a wrong output file, the program can´t read all bytes of PPM flash content if you change hardware in this way.

I thought so, but if someone would produce a Windows-based version for Dejan's Flasher, what will Dejan reward for the effort?

If I may suggest, how about a dongle with unlimited updating and IMEI changing locally, not remote changing. Maybe two units of them.

After all, program development for a most popular but hard-to-obtain technology would certainly cost a lot.

the program will not make PPM or MCU .
You will wait the program to say done for long long
time!!!!
So now how to make MCU & PPM without the box?
(1) Read Full backup using Dejan ver 1.0 .
(2) Change it from flash.out to flash.bin and keep it

(3) Install Dejan MCU & PPM Uploader v.1.03 *****ed*
by =mOp= (Dru Crew).
(4) Close pin 2 to pin 15 on the lpt without any box "

(6) Press f3, the program say done and make your PPM
and MCU.
(7) Work 100%, not fake, not using some kind of new
super-wire :o)

specific program to work it it,
It is composed by a pic 16f84, a 4Mhz oscillator
crystal, a debugger, some diodes , capacitators ,
resistors , a buffer and some other stuff.
So,
What is the idea of what could dejan's WONDERBOX be,
if you can finish say 50% of the work without it?
