The firmware version of my phone is 121. Just a few days back I noticed that my phone was powering off for reasons I didn't know. This thing happened to me last month and I took it to a local servicing center where the guy fixed it in just a few minutes. All I could see was a computer in front of the techical guy who did it. One thing is for sure guys, I'm 100% sure that this guy does not have a BE5 701 data cable for sure only because this phone has never been imported to India. That is what makes me sure. Not only that, 4 out 5 service centres said that they do not know how to handle this phone nor do they have any kind of information that could help me. I love my BE5 701 and it has been loyal to me for the last 2 years. There is no phone IMO which can beat the features this phone has. I can take it to that guy again but I'm currently broke. I want to know if there is anyway I can rectify this problem myself before I beg someone for money. It was working fine all these days until it suddenly powered off. I couldn't get it to power on after that. All the other Alcatel models are available in India except for this one......is there any possibility that this guy could have used a 501 or a 301 data cable and rectified it? Looking forward to your humble replies
