Huawei e220 unlocking question

I have purchased credits to unlock the huawei e220 from you. I have installed the firmware and drivers from support but I only get:

(when not using mobile partner soft)
Looking for phone...
Phone not found.

(when using mobile partner soft)
Looking for phone...
Error: Modem port unavailable or busy!

I suspect that I can't unlock it without a sim (which I don't have because I just bought a locked modem).

Please, help.

1. modem ports are already used
2. modem drivers installed but not response - change USB port to install it again
3. Do not run any modem software during simlock, if U can then uninstall it and do reboot
4. remove simcard

it must be any port conflict or drivers bad installed, no one report problem with last version.
Try steps what I said, let us know

Is the firmware from your support (the one recommended for unlocking) the latest available? If not, will it remain unlocked if I install the latest huawei firmware?
