Hi!

I've got a problem with old BE1 with 2MB flash.
The phone was working with ver 16F and locked, but neither SW could not read out the version correctly and so could not unlock it.

While trying to do something with this sh$t in MCOMM's free SW AWS5 I entered TOOLS option and pressed SET DEFAULTS. It wrote something to the phone and after this the phone won't swich on anymore.

I still can read it by SW and IMEI and other data seems still intact.
Finally I found one SW to recognize SW ver 16F and unlock it successfully, but still no power on.

I remember that it is possible to create a working flash from any other 2MB flash by copying several parts of the not working original flash, but forgotten what exactly should be copied and AFAIK there also was an SW to do this automatically.

Please, help me to revive this phone.
Thx in advance.

Hi Chris!
The most important thing when u don't know how to make a phone is to make backup, but i think in this case u forgoten. So anyway u can try to copy now your flash cose u can find there some important zone for repair. U can use Mihnea's program from Dos runing only and this soft will change your soft version. Unfortunately this not work on all version BE1-16F,but u can try!!! If will not succed to revive phone contact me on icq:149039664

My best regards to all!

Hi,

the 2Mb versions (162,163,etc) are very tricky. They works only with 2Mb flash or with 16F 1Mb flash.

So if you want to repair you have to make your own database for mihnea's repairer with flashes with the same versions AND the same driver for flash(flash id).

Try gathering 16F flahes. They fit almost in all be1 phones.
