Invisible Shell+Editor

hi

can be downloaded from:

editor is included inside so users can update and customize thereselves the shell,
quick guide for shell and editor is included too in pdf format

anyone who want to share databases have to copy:
database.DB, database.MB, database.PX, database.XG0, database.XG1, database.YG0, database.YG1

I think there is no problem sharing this, but any mod feel free to delete this post

shell is ownership of Furious (due to contest), this is why I haven´t post it before,

You know i have this error on my main pc but cant figure out whats pb. On my laptop works ok but we must find some workarround for this.

i have the same problem on my pc... but
just go to the bde folder... execute bde.bat (this exectute the c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe bdeinst.dll command... if your windows isnt in this folder... just change it)

in the installation it said that i dont have enough space to install on C partition... just ignore the error and install this

then app works ok!

its the borland database engine that is missing in computers! usually computers have mdac

simply delete old shell and BDE directory under c:\program files\common files\borland shared\bde
then reinstall bde.bat and run shell it should work like a charm
ps:"common files" or "fichiers communs" depends on windows language

well, for any reason the bat file which runs during install is not doing the job..

for users with windows 2000,just edit bde.bat with notepad and change windows to winnt,and then run it.
