I tried with simscan 133 and it aks me first for par2.bin and after I rename par3.bin to par2.bin after some time it gives me FATAL ERROR :( this happened on 3 PC`s that I have tried (2 pentium 4 and 1 notebook pentium 2)
I tried with cardinal and after long hours and seems to have found 3 bytes tells me check your card and stops..........
I am using an elvis programmer in smartmouse mode .......
download the old version of simscan, start it then it should create the file par2.bin, you don't have to rename par3.bin to par2.bin.
When you have got par2.bin copy and paste in simscan1.33 folder then it should work.
You tryed whit cardinal, that's not good because if it say check your card you probably broken it.

didnt manage to find par2.bin when extracting older versions though with cardinal everything was OK!!!!!!!!!

still the same prob....after few minutes it gives me :
Fatal Error: Get response read data error
while on 2 other pc`s that I have it gives me ILLEGAL OPERATION after I launch the program........
cardinal took me over 12 hours to find me the Ki ...would have prefered something more faster.........

you can call yourself lucky since you finaly got your KI.
The cardinal68 is DANGEROUS Software to use since it uses tooo many tries during Brute Force and could damage your SIM card permanently.
I suggest ONLY to use simscan. I have it working on a Laptop with AMD Processor without problems. Cardinal might appear beautifuller to the eye because it runds under windows, but believe me, if suddenly no response will come back from your card you will ban that software.

Thanks Ch@in...me too would love to use simscan but as I said it doesnt run :( I tried on 3 pc`s and still same problem. Does it run in pure DOS ? I am trying to run it thru windows dos .........
only on 1 PC it manages to start the Ki searching but stops just after 10 minutes or so with Fatal Error...when on the other 2 PC`s it just gives that it had performed an illegal operation.......I am using the elvis programmer in smartmouse mode........
I have it running on Win-ME in a dos window.
I guess I am just lucky to have it working since many people reported that it will run mostly only in real dos enviroment.
How about making a Emergency Boot Disk with pure dos etc, etc.
Maybe this could solve your problem, anyway:
experimenting is our hobby and it wouldn't be fun if it would work on the first time ;) Especially you should get that point since you play with ds9, fun etc etc

infact I did a search and downloaded the dos program to make it work :)
I still though find it a bit slow like cardinal :( is smartmouse mode OK with elvis ? I am trying the fastest method F1 on dejan 133...maybe I need to increase speed? and if so how ?
