IGO / Miomap All links for mainprog and maps

Hi to all,

as i saw in all theards, most of the links dosn´t work, because the most user use rapidshare. There is the problem, that the links are deleted after short time. Let´s make this theard to the central for all links that will be work for a long time, for maps, mainprogs and licence-db. Please use another uploader like megaload. there the links are working for a longer time.

i found only single maps, but not the major roads of west, east and central europe. the other question is, can i conbine some maps in one ? to make my own major roads-map ?

I put on my SD the license http://anonym.to/?http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YKL25CGX and maps Croatia CRO :CxH9S and Slovenia SLV #Ve4[OYqb
After a restart of my MIO C520 and access to Miomap I have the message " HardwareIderror ". I make OK to continue. I obtain the following message who says to me that I have maps old. I confirm by OK.
I notice that maps are not in Miomap: impossible to read them.
If I go to the menu " tools / Miomap " I can see all the installed maps, of origin, on C520 and the maps of Croatia and Slovenia on the SD who are not locked.
The name of maps is important? I reappointed " Croatia.fbl and Slovenia.fbl. I made well?

Hello all,
Cannot unzip ***_dem.zip.001 and ***_dem.zip.002 on 3D terrain download section.

When I unzip file WesternEurope_2007.06_dem.zip.002 , it tells me it is missing 104857600 bytes in zip file.
When I unzip file WesternEurope_2007.06_dem.zip.001, it gives me error.
I have downloade many times and error are the same.
Could someone tell me how to proccess?

Hello Femu,

the name of the maps are not important. you´ve to download the right maps for you c520. i made the post for all working links wich are found on all the theards, because more than 90% are not working.

i think you´ve put the maps for pda´s on you c520 and i don´t know if their are still working at that.

Is there a licence file that I need when running MioMap v3.3? When I run MioMap I am going to the list of country maps available and Greece is not showing up. I'm not sure if I just saved it in the wrong spot? Any advice?

looks like it's reading the map now, but when i run miomap it tells me there are locked maps. i assume this means i need the licence file for the greece maps?

Dear folks,

I have a PNA Mio C510 with a cracked v3.2 and license.db software and all maps of europe 2007.10.

I have read somewhere that Mio doesn't show 3D and iGO does, so I want to change the Mio v3.2
software to iGO software.

My question is: What do I have to do to get this? Downloads etc. + install procedure.

I have downloaded the software v8go from this thread and all iGO maps...
How to install in wich maps and folders is what I need to know...

you need to unzip the igo8. That will give you the SD card folder structure of igo8. You can put your maps in /map folder and of you go...just run igo8 in root folder

I have the iGO 8 (SD-card) software on my Mio C510 320x240.
On my flash disk the V3.2 crack is running, iGO 8 on the SD-card and both are working well.

Yet still a few problems for iGO 8, hope this forum can help me.

1. Data.zip is a bit too slow for me, why? I have an SD-card, with already the miomaps on it.
2. When driving the wrong way, the software doesn't calculate immediately a new route, you have to acknowlegde to choose a new route, can this somewhere being activated that the route is automatically being calculated.
3. When I push the screen ON/OFF button on my Mio, when running on iGo, software restarts again, soft reset and it goes to Miomap... When I run on Mio V3.2 and pushing the same button, screen goes ON/OFF. Is there a way that this doesn't happen...?
4. Can I get a clear DATA.ZIP for clear view, I find the iGo day not so clear... When driving on the freeway, the roads are dark and black and want i like miomap... So a very shiny and bright skin. Thank you!!
5. I have enabled the speedcams on iGo and I have speedcam.txt on my SD\iGO8\content\speedcam. On the road I don't see the speedcams... Why?
6. On my SD-card there is also iGO8\content\texture, there are files in it like arrow.tex, car_goose.tex, car_green.tex; I suppose with this you can choose between a car or arrow in different color, where I can choose that or do I have to modify the text file (systext.)

Hello,
I have a mio c720. I bought it in USA. It comes with USA maps. I have the Brazilian map (where i live). I intalled it into the maps directory, but when i start the miomap it says that some maps are lockek (and checking the about/maps) the locked map is the Brazilian map.
How do i fix that? I tryed using the license.db from my old P550 (that works with any map in the world) but didnt help here on the C720.
I would also like to know if its possible to hack the c720 so i can use Windows CE.
