View Full Version : Problem Flashing K850i
Please help me.
I have purchased credit for 8 Euro in order to flash my K850i to the latest firmware with Hebrew/ISRAEL language support.
I have followed the instruction closely, downloaded both Main & FS files for ISRAEL (R1EA031) , checked "Finalize" and "Flash phone" and after I get to the stage of "Flashing Main..." I get this error:
"Error: No ACK For FBA!"
I have tried reinstalling the USB Flash drivers, Master Reset on my K850i, I even tried to change my CDA to 1203-1414 which is supposed to be ISRAEL CDA for the K850i - nothing works - I keep getting this error at the same place.

DO NOT POST USERLOG.TXT FILE! IT CONTAIN LOGGED PASSWORD FROM PAYPAL SERVICE!
I got that "no ACK for FBA" error with the latest client flashing CID 110 firmware. Have you tried with CID42, as those are the recommended R1EA031 firmware files for the K850?
CID 110 are beta firmwares, it seems.
my CID is 52
I logged in and paid specifically for the ISRAEL firmware - they say that although it is beta (CID110) they should work for any CID between 49-110.
(to KULANKENDI officials) please tell me what to do or refund

CID 110 should work - but as you say, it is beta. You're safer flashing with CID 52, and that one worked for me with the previous client version, so should flash without any problem for you.

I gave up on trying to flash the CID110 - no one addressed my issue.
I tried to flash both Main & FS for CID52 R1EA031 S_ASIS_LEVAN
I checked "Finalize" and....flashing went with no errors but phone shows 'Configuration Error contact your network or service provider.."
I have no other choice buy file a paypal dispute - not enough the product sucks, their support in none existent - I am sure a dispute will have them running to their email like crazy - after all 8 Euro can buy you a house down there in Poland...
They usually answer faster than this. And they do refund credits if the error was theirs. At least that is my experience. You know you can still re-flash it with the same firmware (and finalize the flash, without the error you have now) at least two more times?

sorry for delay in answer, we usually do not works at weekends etc
About UR K850, CID110 was beta and one user will test it for us because we do not have now any A2 phone for test it self. As I see it do not works, so use CID49-52 files instead, if there no with ISRAEL language then tell me

sorry for delays. We can't be 24/h every time, so please understand us.
U will not lose anything, U don't need to pay twice or more, just patience.
If U did like U said MAIN + FS + FINALIZATION then all should works without problems, we see first time that case. So my suggestion is to repeat with other firmware. About credits as I said U will not lose ,just send me PM with login and I'll back U credit. About 8 euro what U said... I don't fully understand what U mean? U mean that for 8 euro U can buy house here in Poland? if yes then U mistake, basic house here cost about 142.000 euro :)

About files for K850, what region name is with ISRAEL language?

Israel/Hebrew/HE once was S_ASIA_LEVAN DB2020
Now with new A2 platform (DB3150) it has a specific FS called FS_ISRAEL (look in CID110 files you have)
Excuse me, how can i do with kulakendi unlock a SE k850i, brand orange with simlock? it's possible?

Depends on which network it is locked to. If it is Vodafone UK, you can buy the codes on ebay for 10 euros. Other networks might have codes available too. If you can't find the codes, you might end up paying up to 50 euros.

I know i sound cheeky here but i have had the same problem as this guy did with the "Contact Service provider, or repair center" And i have tried 3 times am i entitled to my credits back as i am in a rly bad position at the moment ? I have made sure it completed and finalized !
