I'v brought an unlocked Samsung SGH-U700 from UK to Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. The trouble is that when I a try to connect to the internet I get this message 'Unavailable Access Point'. I've looked for help from Samsung representatives in Brazil but they refuse to give me any help to configure my phone because they don't make this model and therefore they advise me to contact the local dealer or Samsung maker where I bought the phone. My TIM operator in Brazil provided me with the necessary parameters to configure any phone to connect to the internet (URL, IP, ID/PW, PORTS and APN) and asked me to contact Samsung for help on how to enter those parameter in the phone. I just couldn't find where to enter the APN parameter in the phone settings and I gess that is what I need to reach an access point. I'd appreciate very much if anybody could help me to find the way to finish this configuration. :confused:
