can pinfinder work as uni cables?

TO infinity team i want to know just that can pinfinder can work as unicables?
today i got spice d88 dsm-cdma handset with security code enable , but i dont have cable so i tried with autopinfinder by manual seting rx tx 7 8 resp but spice software not able to detect the handset i tried all cpu available in list also swaping rx tx also all possible way but no result :(

plz make next update as unicables so no need to store maximum cables , also save time to make cables

hello!

you can use pinfinder as interface with any phone.
very important that even if you not use "find it" function and set pins manualy- still phone must be powered from box (not from battery)

in your case i think you set wrong pins.
2 row connectors have special pinout
open user manual and check your specific connector pinout at the bottom of document.

also one row connectors pins can be counted from 2 sides

yes phone is powering on with adaptor also i am tried like this 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 ,
18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

7 8 as rx tx and reverse way
12 11 as rx tx and reverse way
but no succsess

GND is taken via battery negative terminal
to get communication you must run program, push "detect adapter"
select cable L18 then set tx/rx pins 7/8 and push "power"
from now must RED led must be On all the time
this means box is delivering power to phone.

try to boot it as TX=7, RX=8 & TX=8, RX=7
and also TX=11, RX=12 & TX=12, RX=11

yes allredy done same process as u told but no succsess , all china set with mtk detects well ,but i dont know way i am fail with this model by the way thanks i will make new cable for spice d88

Hello,

D88 has MT62xx CPU, so you can try to autodetect pinout for this phone too.
If pinout can't be detected it may be that phone connector is damaged.

Yes, you can find pinout without problems for models with good hardware but damaged software.

i dont know what was realy happend ysterday, i repeted all steps as u explain and all is well , one point i am waching red light should glow during procedure ,

it can work as universal cable for other models- this is one thing.
another thing that it can use not only original cables, but it can work with all others which have RJ45 connector.
for example- you can use UFS cables

all ufs cables use pins 4,5 as data lines.
so if you use for example UFS motorola t191 cable- just set tx/rx pins to 4/5.
if you use infinity cables- set to 2/3
