I looked for configuration tool for ETS 2288 in the forum-whatsoever tool I found there failed to connect the set.Please any one member come forward with a tested configuration tool.Thanks.

Are you still interrested with FWT Config Tool
In fact , CDMA WorkShop can read & write Huawei FWT 2XX serie, but phone must be in offline mode. The problem is that CDMA WorkShop can't put phone in Offline.
I've FWT 3.0 Config tool for ETS22XX series , but phone connect only with Huawei Data Configuration Cable. I'm looking for DB9 pinout to build a home made cable.
