I have on my hands a N95 Type: RM-17. And have some questions,
There is one firmware update I Guess ( KONGLI26_06B_PCB01_GPRS_MT6226_S01.MAUI_06B_W07_04 _MP_V32.BIN ) . The phone actually has the (MAUI.06B.W07.04.MP.V32)
What are the differences between both firmwares?
This phone it supposed to have wifi,gps,8gb HD ? Is there anyway to have access to those features ?
And how the hell when plugged to the PC can be recognized ? It only says Charged Connected.. But haven't access to the phone thru the PC.

this is u r usb problem.
Try to connect the phone with another usb.

I have tryed with 3 different USB Cables. with all of them, it only says Charger Connected...

Dear it say charger connected . . .
Then try to connect the charger and post result . . . . What is the result.
Which clone do you have,? NOKLA? 8GB Clone? There is no 8GB in the N95-2 clone.

The same.. It says charger connected.. I'm very pissed off !! I paid for a ******* and the chinesse vendor send me a copy :mad:. And now he doesnt answer me.. Also the charger that was included didn't work and i had to buy a new one !!

MY FRIEND .S CAN YOU HELP ME OUT. I HAVE THIS N95 CHINES TYPE. AND N99 DEAD. I HAVE FLASHED IT WITH MTK BOX NOW THEY BOTH ARE ON BUT ITS SHOWS JUST WHITE LIGHT . CAN SOUND WELL CAN CLICK WELL CAN CALL WELL BUT THERE ARE KNOW DISPLAYS. PLEASE ANY BODY KNOW HOW TO USE THIS BOX, I THINK I AM MISSING OUT SOME THING

my friend thanks i copied this file from anther phone now its working well but give me link as were i can down loed these china files.
why buy cloned units? why not settle for the original.....you won't have to bear the pain chinese giving us consumers....

SAME HERE. I have a RM-17 N95. How do I update the firmware and how do I figure out what firmware I currently have? I wish that I could change the icons. They make the phone look cheaper than I wish. Oh and I can't find any codes that work for me.
The only code that I have been successful with is *#06# to show the IMEI and IMEISV.

For that you have to activate setup UART settings on engineering menu !
Try by typing one of these codes.
*#3646633#
*#110*01#
*#987*99# = Factory Default
Once on engineer mode try to establish this setting with no conflict :
-> Device -> Set UART -> PS Config -> UART1/115200

I tried this and it's already set to this.
Play with all settings one by one, till windows 'll recognize usb.
Shutting off should be turned off, many settings has to be considered.
I will tell you more tomorrow.
