Did you connect to pin #37 on Stage 2?
Try to keep the needle on testpoint for longer time. Try to not move your hand.

Hello!
Please, check if you connect right pin on right side of flash chip. Must be pin #27 for Stage 1 and pin #37 for Stage 2.
Did you check the pin? Maybe there is glue on it.
