main screen LED ways for V3x

hi,

I have a v3x, i don't want to buy a new screen but might have to as the LED's on it don't work!! is there somewhere else apart from the connector which i can connect the LED's to? (LED's have been tested and do work)

i've looked for schematics but couldn't find any.
