w200 unlock via tp ok but wont flash

unlocked w200a via tp ok, phone work perfect but need to flash and phone wont, any ideas? tnx.

ok, i asumed since it says w200 is a permanent unlock, I can flash with other tool, I tried with setool and received errors:

SERVER SUPPORT ENABLED.
Will backup GDFS now.
ChipID:8040,EMP protocol:0301
NEW SECURITY MODEL DETECTED
erom_readvar: error reading unit 1/725
error while reading security units
SECURITY UNITS CAN'T BE READ !
DAMAGED FIRMWARE/GDFS OR EMPTY PHONE
phone pre-boot failed,possible RECOVERY needed.
Elapsed: 4 secs.

now I do with dreambox-se and it works so far, (its at 42% and counting)

Q:after unlock procedure with dreambox-se it can only be flashed with db-se?

so i flashed with full w200 posted here in forum http://rapidshare.com/files/104644995/__0330-1211_full.bin
then flashed backed up gdfs from my original w200a since I dont want to lose 850mhz band
then unlocked again with "unlock and repair gdfs security blocks"
now it works fine, 850 ok and got rid of rogers flash since it wont let me use my own ringtones.

so, after unlock via db-se and testpoint, phone can only be flashed with same db-se box and no other way?
not so good.

I found you :)
Guy, the problem happens after "Unlock and Repair GDFS Security blocks".
If you do Stage 1 and Stage 2 but no "Unlock and..." and flash by SETOOL, it works normally. You can flash by SETOOL first and unlock by DB after.
You can restore original GDFS(if you have) or modify it(if you know how) like the_laser said here:

You can try to use XS++, for example.
Maybe it works with Cruiser, I don't know.

DreamSupporter, do you will release for public how to modify GDFS to get back compatibility with SETOOL?

You are right, I noticed same situation, and only comport flashing work after unlock.
For flashing is used setool.
Tomorow I'll try if after com flashing, usb flashing is repaired

interesting topic, but Lead said that long ago,

in se phones when gdfs is tampered it is damaged but effects is unnoticable, thats why no one bothers.

only now that we can clearly see......... waiting for supporters explanations

When you use SETOOL with USB flashes, the sw try to read some information that DB erase when do unlock/repair because the new "Dreambox EROM" doesn't need it to work.
Has anyone tested to flash using XS++? And Cruiser?
